2nd [Video] An Invitation
[Nomi's generally not fond of making broadcasts, but with all of the strangeness going on, disturbing dreams and memories shared between people...she'll make an exception. She faces the camera, face neutral and somewhat drained of color.]
Hello everyone.
Forgive me, it's been a while since I used this function, but I'm sure you've all felt the strange goings on. Memories not your own, the feelings of other people...and an influx of emotions not your own. I've had several such flashes in the last few days. And to that end, I...well I suppose I'd like to speak with the individuals with whom I've shared memories. I know not who, but I recall several names from the dreams. Holmes, Winchester, Celebrian, and Stark, as well as the planet Vulcan and some sort of drill. Those would be the clues I have thus far.
Please, contact me or find me in the Oxygen Gardens. Thank you.
[With that out of the way, the Jedi Grandmaster sends out a second broadcast]
This is Nomi, and I hope this finds all of you well. I have noticed a large influx of individuals from our galaxy lately and I believe that probably means something. Perhaps it is only random chance, but I've learned never to believe in coincidence. We should be working together, coming together with some sense of unity so that we can do the most good that can. It was something Quinlan and I spoke of before he departed, and I very much agree. Together we're far stronger and more useful. Through solidarity, we will be better equipped to handle the problems this ship throws at us.
To that end, I would like for all of us to meet as a group. Perhaps later this week? Say...two more days? And not just the Jedi. What I'm asking isn't a Jedi Conclave, but something for everyone. Brunch, if it suits you to call it that. I'll prepare some food from home, I'd ask that you do the same, or just bring something.
Thank you.
[OOC: This is a sort of catch-all for Stage 2 Event things. Please feel free to tag with action if your character would prefer. Prose or brackets is fine with me, I'll match]

I would be grateful.

Where to begin...
[She swallows thickly, closes her eyes, and tries to bring the memory back more clearly.]
Your daughter is beautiful. I...have seen very few quite as graceful as she. She and the person in the memory were standing together at a sea-port of sorts, holding hands. They spoke of love, and while I am certain the memory was not yours, there was a familial...despair...to it. Great loss, and talk of Middle Earth, which I could tell was a fading land. The impression I received was one of great longing.
And the memory ended with Celebrian boarding a ship. I do not know where, but I know it was significant. And that's all.

You should seek out Lord Elrond of Rivendell, her husband. Of all those here, this memory can only be his. [She's not entirely sure how much she should explain; it's not just her tragedy. So she just leaves it there for the moment, waiting for a response.]
no subject
I will. I had hoped the name would garner a response. But I see this Lady is well connected here.
[Stiffly, she leans back onto her hands.]
Can you tell me the significance of the boat? I got the impression that it was no mere journey.

[Except Celebrian was far too young to have taken the trip for the normal reasons.]
no subject
Oh...I see. So she departed for another place forever. An...afterlife of sorts, unless I miss my guess.

But it is also the land of my birth and home to my father's kingdom. [So it's a bit more complicated than that.]

I'm not sure I'd want to, if what I know of my world's future is true.

[She swallows, looking away. Since Bail had told her about Order 66, she had nightmares about it. Since Nymta had told her about the Mandalorian Wars...she'd had difficulty staying focused, and then there was the news of Alderaan...]
Seeing everything that we worked for torn apart...I'm not sure I could handle that.

You speak of tragedy on a scale I can scarcely begin to comprehend. [The concept of a galaxy, of life on multiple planets, is so new to her. Interplanetary war? It's a frightening thought.]

No, I am glad my time ended when it did.
