Hello everyone.

Forgive me, it's been a while since I used this function, but I'm sure you've all felt the strange goings on. Memories not your own, the feelings of other people...and an influx of emotions not your own. I've had several such flashes in the last few days. And to that end, I...well I suppose I'd like to speak with the individuals with whom I've shared memories. I know not who, but I recall several names from the dreams. Holmes, Winchester, Celebrian, and Stark, as well as the planet Vulcan and some sort of drill. Those would be the clues I have thus far.

This is Nomi, and I hope this finds all of you well. I have noticed a large influx of individuals from our galaxy lately and I believe that probably means something. Perhaps it is only random chance, but I've learned never to believe in coincidence. We should be working together, coming together with some sense of unity so that we can do the most good that can. It was something Quinlan and I spoke of before he departed, and I very much agree. Together we're far stronger and more useful. Through solidarity, we will be better equipped to handle the problems this ship throws at us.

To that end, I would like for all of us to meet as a group. Perhaps later this week? Say...two more days? And not just the Jedi. What I'm asking isn't a Jedi Conclave, but something for everyone. Brunch, if it suits you to call it that. I'll prepare some food from home, I'd ask that you do the same, or just bring something.

Victorian is a word I've heard used, yes. And the clothing was quite ridiculous by my standards, yes. The dream was during the day, so I do not know about the electricity.

apologies, one last question: do you have any familiarity with earth accents from your experience here? american vs. english, specifically. american = flatter, more nasal, harsher vowels. english would be a bit closer to yours.

Quite alright. I suppose the accent I was speaking in was a bit more like my own. Less nasal, at least, and it didn't feel entirely unfamiliar to me.

So, alternate reality Holmes. I take it you are from a more modern era, from your perspective?

And no. She drugged the other Holmes and tied him to a bed. There was a kiss involved, and pleasant words. It seemed like a game they'd played at often.

"Game" being the operative word. I imagine that was very awkward for you in recollection, being privy to another's fond emotions.

I'm an empath, I'm no stranger to other's emotions, albeit as a Jedi I usually have more control over what I feel.

And it's better than most of the memories I've experienced this week by far.

[ he sends that first, but about five seconds later - fine, whatever, he's in space, all bets are off. he's seen plenty of fictional identities on the network, there's no reason to fret about it now. ]

They appear to be somewhat indiscriminate. I've stared at walls covered in blood and had a lovely date at a fast food restaurant all in one day.

How does this compare to your standard empath experience? More controlled, less controlled? Are you accustomed to receiving memories wholly intact?

It's less controlled. I'm typically used to seeing flashes of emotion, very few images, and I can always shut them out with concentration. Now I can't even begin to do that.

Via word of mouth only, but yes.

So is this is a relief? Knowing it's not just you. I'd assume it's better than believing your innate abilities are on the fritz.
