That's what memory loss, or altered memories, does to you. It screws with your head. Or can. Some people don't think it's happened. Other people can't remember if it's happened. It probably affects everyone differently.

Oh. Yeah, someone would know if their friend was acting different, so you would want them to contact you and not everyone. But their story will probably change anyway. Just to match up and make sense of things. Maybe.
