[The brunette on the feed might be familiar or it could be a complete stranger. It doesn't matter to her. She's been here long enough not to care if people do or don't know her. She is sitting on the edge of her desk, the network device propped up on the dresser so she doesn't have to hold it.]

A while ago, the dear Captain Hook offered to lock up the masks that belonged to people here. [Technically, Meg doesn't believe they belong to anyone. She thinks they belong to whoever thought it was cute to hand them out.]

No clue who took him up on that, but the thought that there could be enough of them to lock up was interesting to me. Turns out, there are quite a few of these things laying around and they seem to induce vivid hallucinations. [For those that are thinking otherwise, Meg's tone definitely implies that this is a bad thing.]

I have experience with objects that do more than they're supposed to. Back home, we call them cursed objects and we have ways of dealing with them. Those ways include burning, rituals, and most of the time just locking them up in a box designed to hold that item.

Now, I'm not saying these masks are cursed objects, but it certainly fits the bill and I'd like to have a shot at figuring that out. If anyone has interest in sharing their mask with me, since I didn't get lucky enough to get one of my own, I'd be really [She clasps her hands together and holds them close to her chest, as if she's oh-so-grateful.] tickled.

[Her hands drop and she looks at the camera, slightly dead-pan.] No, but seriously, if you want me to hold onto it I will, but I just want to take a snapshot, take some notes and ask some questions. Then you can have your mask back.

Any takers, I'll be in the common area on twelve. [She grins, it's almost enough of a grin that you might think you can trust her. Almost, really, it's up to you.]

(( eta: if your character wants to run into Meg (not you, Crowley) on 12, it will take place before Dean tells her that Crowley is on board. After that point, she's not out there all willy nilly and the part with her location is erased/edited from her broadcast. ))

[BLUSH. Only not really, she just grins at him.]

You look close to twenty, but not old enough that I'd feel safe buying you a drink without ID. [It's the height and build that throws her off. She's been around for a long time.]

How old do you think I am?

[ Boyd can't help laughing at that a little. ]

Man, I think I'm going to just let you keep thinking that.

[ He pauses. Women's ages - even Boyd knows that's dangerous. ]

Can't be a day over drinking age.

[She laughs.]

Oh, you sweet thing. You're very, very far off the mark - though your kindness is very appreciated.

Am I at least in the ballpark, or am I looking at Benjamin Button here?

[Another laugh and some pointing at the screen, because even if his end is audio, she knows that he can watch her gesture.]

Clever, but it's more complicated than a simple age question.

[ he does watch her gesture, his head tilting and eyebrows raising. ]

I'm guessing it's more complicated than a good plastic surgeon.

[She picks up the device and swaps to private, because while she is "out" so to speak, there are still people who aren't exactly comfortable with it. PLUS, this is a bit more than just the usual explain and re-explain.

She brings the feed closer, smirking before she shuts her eyes. When she opens them they're pitch black with a nice high gloss shine.]

Pausing for reaction. [Also, the narration is sad that it's the one icon she's missing.]

[ Boyd doesn't get it at first. The eye thing is definitely weird, the lack of a true smell on her - it's all pointing to something weird. Something supernatural, he guesses.

He squints at the screen, although she can't see it. ]

What are you? What does that mean, I guess.

I'm a demon. The girl you look at isn't really who I am. She's just the body I have right now.

[ Boyd has this reaction in private. She's just the body that Meg has right now. A demon. It makes him tense, all of a sudden.

He's wary. ]

What happened to the girl?

[She blinks and her eyes go back to their usual state. She figured this was coming, but it doesn't make it any easier when people she's had good conversation with suddenly get weird.]

She died a while ago. [Meg's actually pretty sure this doesn't even count as the girl anymore. This body's been reconstructed post-Holy Fire and everything, but she's pretty sure most people won't care about the distinction.]

[ That the person who Meg is inhabiting is dead is a bit of a comfort. But not much of one. ]

You'd say that even if she wasn't though, right?

[ Then there's a small chuckle. ]

Glass houses and stones, though. [ He's a supernatural creature too and people wanna kill him, not that she knows that. ] I guess the personality makes up for it.

If she was still alive I think I'd have bigger issues than the opinions of those on the ship. Like, figuring out if the ship wanted her or me.

[She shrugs.] She died and then when I was owed a favor I opted to have them fix her body for me. I had a nostalgic moment and I really hate having to reintroduce myself every time something changes.

You fixed her body - how the hell do you even start to do that?

[ Sounding genuinely confused. ]

Well, I didn't do it for one. I mean, I take care of it now. I kinda need it, so I have to keep it alive.

Recently, there was a fire. The body didn't exactly make it, but I knew a few people that could help with that. They fixed it.

[ Boyd mentally wonders at that. Fixing bodies, demons. ]

Was that scientific or mystical help?

Mystical.

Well, I'm not really sure what to say with that. Other than you must have some awesome people that owe you favors.

Awesome is probably the wrong direction of descriptors, but I don't owe them any favors anymore. [Dangerous, vengeful... Lucifer.]

Fair enough.

Well, I wouldn't have guessed that about you. [ Maybe something, but not that. ]

Are you creeped out?

Not really. Maybe if she was still actually inside you, otherwise... no. Not unless you can jump bodies.

[ Pause. ]

Can you?

I can, but I don't have any plans to do it here. I mean, I don't even know what would happen. It's not like there's a page in the rulebook about demons in space.

[ Not knowing the rulebook doesn't exactly make Boyd comfortable, though. It's not like he knows everything about being a werewolf, after all. ]

Glad to know you're not planning on hopping homes anytime soon.

[ he still sounds uncomfortable, though. ]

I like this one and I don't want to cause people to worry that I'm some evil harbinger of demony goodness.
