[The brunette on the feed might be familiar or it could be a complete stranger. It doesn't matter to her. She's been here long enough not to care if people do or don't know her. She is sitting on the edge of her desk, the network device propped up on the dresser so she doesn't have to hold it.]

A while ago, the dear Captain Hook offered to lock up the masks that belonged to people here. [Technically, Meg doesn't believe they belong to anyone. She thinks they belong to whoever thought it was cute to hand them out.]

No clue who took him up on that, but the thought that there could be enough of them to lock up was interesting to me. Turns out, there are quite a few of these things laying around and they seem to induce vivid hallucinations. [For those that are thinking otherwise, Meg's tone definitely implies that this is a bad thing.]

I have experience with objects that do more than they're supposed to. Back home, we call them cursed objects and we have ways of dealing with them. Those ways include burning, rituals, and most of the time just locking them up in a box designed to hold that item.

Now, I'm not saying these masks are cursed objects, but it certainly fits the bill and I'd like to have a shot at figuring that out. If anyone has interest in sharing their mask with me, since I didn't get lucky enough to get one of my own, I'd be really [She clasps her hands together and holds them close to her chest, as if she's oh-so-grateful.] tickled.

[Her hands drop and she looks at the camera, slightly dead-pan.] No, but seriously, if you want me to hold onto it I will, but I just want to take a snapshot, take some notes and ask some questions. Then you can have your mask back.

Any takers, I'll be in the common area on twelve. [She grins, it's almost enough of a grin that you might think you can trust her. Almost, really, it's up to you.]

(( eta: if your character wants to run into Meg (not you, Crowley) on 12, it will take place before Dean tells her that Crowley is on board. After that point, she's not out there all willy nilly and the part with her location is erased/edited from her broadcast. ))

I guess I don't get it. There's plenty of other stuff you could be, uh, researching.

Maybe I like creepy masks that induce hallucinations. [She shrugs.] We all have our hobbies.

Weird hobbies. [ But he grins. ] Can't really help you out though. I was skipped over when they were handing 'em out.

Absent that day, were we?

I dunno. I've probably seen worse than whatever those masks were showing anyway.

See? Now, look what my boring research has already gotten me.

[Meg smirks, but really she does love to hear what people think is bad. She's worked for the Lucifer and she's been to Hell. It's fun to gain perspective sometimes.]

How worse are we talking?

You know about Hell, right? Or heard of it? I was there for a pretty long time before showing up here. [ And then he shrugs, rather blunt. ]

[Her gaze narrows a bit. Interesting. Canting her head, she then lifts her chin slightly.]

If you do the crime, you do the time - right?

Yeah, sure. [ A roll of his eyes, though he pauses for a second after. ] Is that your way of asking what I did?

No. That's my way of asking if you think you deserved Hell.

Someone thought I did. But you get used to it. It's not like I miss being up top all that much anyway.

Huh. [It's interesting to think that people actually do go to Hell for being terrible people, not just for selling their souls.]

Is being here that much better?

I'd rather be here than there if that's what you mean.

[She nods, still watching him through the feed. She wants to know more about his Hell, but she's not sure how exactly to form the question correctly.]

What was Hell like for you? [Well, that works.]

Long. Lonely. It's different for everyone. [ He pauses, lips pressed thin at the thought. ] What do you wanna know for?

Comparison, mostly. It doesn't sound like your Hell is the same as the Hell where I'm from.

Tell me about yours.

Torture. More torture. Then, just for fun - more torture.

[She shrugs. It isn't something she usually talks about, mostly because her experience with Hell was so long ago that... well, it's possible that she's just forgotten the details. Except, she hasn't. She never will. Finding a job, someone to align herself to - that made the torture stop. That gave her purpose.]

It's meant to tear away your humanity. Leave behind nothing that made you who you were. Time moves differently. A year up top feels like ten below.

[ He stares, listening rather intently, and then, he laughs. ]

You don't think there's torture in my Hell? That's all there is. It's just a little different if you're not, well. Humans tend to have it worse. Souls and all, you know.

[a beat.]

You said long and lonely. You said different for everyone. [She narrows her gaze once more.]

I'm well aware of souls and all... but now I have to ask - are you human?

I know what I said. [ But he's not going to elaborate. ] And no, I'm not human. I thought it was a little obvious.

[She lifts her hand to her chest, a touch of mock-shock.]

I don't judge others. [Yes. Yes she does.]

I'm a demon, so I don't tend to just assume everyone else isn't.

A demon, huh? [ Maybe he sounds...amused? Whatever. He thinks she's fun. ] Guess it's a good thing I like most of 'em then. But I can't say all my brothers and sisters feel the same way I do.
