Attention everybody ever!!!! I have some of the most exciting news.
Well its pretty gosh damned exciting to me.
This jump around i not only found two solid gold berettas and a computer coat but i found some things that are even more important.
Thats right when i opened up my locker a small collection of classic movies fell out.
:D
Hot diggity shits this is precisely what i have been having a hankering for since i dont actually recall when but its sure been a good while since ive settled myself down to watch some real movies.
I figure since the ship is at a lull atm and no shipwide horrors are occurring we could take this moment to get acquainted over watching some cinemaflicks. I would like more friends.
The videos found are the following:
Gone with the wind.
E.t.
Frankenstein.
Casablanca.
The wizard of oz.
A fine collection if i can say so myself. All these items can fit in my puzzle modus so i will bring them all.
Anywhoo if you are interested in watching a movie you can meet up with me i will be in the rec room nearest to floor 8 in approximately thirty minutes.
LOCKED TO RAVEN DARKHOLME:
How are you faring my dear lady??? It seems to have been awhile since we last spoke.
I found a figurine of you in my locker which i swear on holy fishsticks it didnt come from my room globe. It just reminded me of you and i was very much like to see you again.

Ok i will!
[ Not like Jake would really notice something like that anyway.
He makes his way to the nearest rec room on the 8th floor, sylladex filled with all the items he needed, which was basically everything that would fit into his puzzle modus.
Ever since that arrived on the ship with pieces of his broken house missing from his sylladex he's been trying to fill it with everything frm his world.
Comfortably seated on a couch in front of the screen, he appears his DVDs and flips through them, the lights on his helmet flashing rapidly as he continues to talk to others over the network with his thoughts. ]

Pocketing her device, Emily walks over and surveys his cinematic haul. ]
Wow, you weren't kidding. That helmet is the bees knees; I'm getting gowed up just looking at it.
no subject
In any case, he extends a hand and speaks. ]
Are you Em?
[ His voice carries a thick, unusual accent. It's hard to understand where he might be from precisely, but it sounds closest to somebody from Australia. ]
I mean, the damsel I've been waiting here for with the peculiar speech.
In any case, no frets. It's just a computer helmet. I've programmed it to communicate with my ship device so I can think to the network instead of typing.
no subject
Got it in one, I'm your dame.
[ It takes Emily a moment to wrap her brain around his accent- but more so the fact that he talks and talks. The company Emily usually keeps is prone to secrets and short sentences, and Jake's ready explanations are more jarring than any accent could be. ( She's a little relieved that there's no brain to text function on her device; that could get awkward... ) ]
You gotta be one smart cat to put a computer in a helmet! I dig the lights on your googs, its a cool detail. Something ever run through your noodle that you didn't mean to type?

[ He pulls out some small device that fits in his palm and looks similar to a tablet and watches as his helmet vanishes. The device lights up, and a picture of his helmet appears on it before he tucks it back into his pocket.
He looks over at Em. ]
As for the helmet itself, it was a present from my grandmother.
[ Jake leans over to pick up Casablanca from the sofa before walking over to the giant screen to put it in. He speaks, again. She's right, he is pretty chattery. ]
She gave it to me. Not quite sure in my wits where she got it from.
[ How to operate a space DVD player like this.. ]
no subject
That's- [ Emily laughs, unable to get a word in sideways, so she just lets him talk his fill, nodding where appropriate even if she maybe loses him a little at the monsters and pistols bit. She's visibly surprised when his helmet literally vanishes, but Jake doesn't seem too worried about it so she plays it cool. ]
Not the cookies and milk kind of grams, I take it? [ Oh! Emily knows this one! She walked into 005's rec room when one of the guys there happened to be dissecting- er- fixing their DVD player. She points, even though Jakes busy scrutinizing the player. ] Its the button on the bottom-- yeah, that one.
[ Emily takes a seat on the sofa, glancing around for the remote. ]
no subject
[ He presses the button then shoves the disc in before standing up and shifting his hip to one side of his body, hands folding behind his back. The screen flickers on and his lips curl upwards before he turns and takes a seat next to Emily. ]
She gave me plenty of other wearable computers but only two have made it to my ship so far so I don't believe I'm properly prepared for anything.
[ His eyes flicker to her stomach for a moment. A moment. Then, he meets eye to eye with her. ]
She was the greatest. I miss her more than anything.
If it weren't for he, I probably would just be dust in the ground by now!
[ Oh boy. He's talking about his grandma. This could be a bit. ]
no subject
The relief of something familiar is almost overwhelming. ]
Sounds like a right dame.
[ Emily swallows, holding her proverbial ground when she notices the glance at her stomach. She doesn't want to talk about it- and she's glad when Jake doesn't mention it. ]
Not a lot of ground to be had, floating in the ether like a bunch'a bindle stiffs- but I dig your drift. [ There's no remote in sight, but Emily figures either the movie will start itself or they'll find the thing when they need to. ] What d'you feel like you need to be "prepared" for?
no subject
[ He says this in all seriousness, allowing a pause to occur before he tears his gaze away and starts to look around for the remote himself. ]
I, uhm, grew up in not the safest place so it's a habit for me to carry many things with me.
[ He slips off of the couch and onto his knees, squeezing his hands between the cushions. Jake's eyes flicker up to her as he pauses for a moment, half smiling. ]
Everyday was an adventure on hellmurder island.
Geeze louise do I miss it.
no subject
( She's not sure she can say she misses it, not entirely. )
Emily blinks at him, lost for a moment as to whether he's referring to the actual name of the place he's from, or if this is some kind of ( weirdly ) affectionate nickname. ]
Does everyone from your berg call it that?
no subject
Jake shrugs. ]
Well, yeah. That is because that is what I call it, and I am the only one there!
no subject
A confused look. ]
You live all by yourself on an island?
no subject
Hah. Yeah.
[ he ducks down to check under the sofa. ]
no subject
He says he misses it, but Emily wonders if he's one of the few on board who would agree that being here isn't the worst thing that could have happened. ]
Guess we just gotta get you the slant on an adventure up here- [ Emily pulls up the cushion on the other side of her, something plastic and rectangular falling to the floor with a clatter. Oh look, the remote! ] After the film, of course.
no subject
Ah.
This place doesn't give me any adventures. What I define as an adventure, anyway.
This ship lacks the gigantic sea goats and fairy bulls.
