[Here, fellow passengers of the TQ, is one French revolutionary. He is not amusing himself with bothering Marius today, instead he is in his own rooms, looking somewhat disgruntled. ....For him, that's pretty normal, at least.]
A question for you, passengers. More specifically, those who are skilled in the use of these ...communication devices. I have heard there is a library one can access on them, but I cannot seem to do so. Assistance would certainly be appreciated.
If that is not the case, then simply tell me if and where I may find the philosophy books aboard this vessel. I am of a mind to read some Rousseau.
Merci.

[ ACTUALLY Cambridge has given his 1803 editions of Rousseau and Voltaire to someone else on board, but he fancies being a bit of a bastard. Sorry, E. ]

Look here, I'm not often in the business of giving good advice but do try and expand your repertoire a bit. Since dear old Rousseau there have been an absolute plethora of far greater philosophers and social thinkers, most of whom put that old sack's opinions on the female sex to shame

I'm not really one to spend too much time pondering the rights of mankind when mankind is as undeservingly unwashed and under-dressed as it tends to be
[ also there's all the meritocratic dictatorship business BUT THAT'S ANOTHER STORY FOR ANOTHER DAY ]
