Greetings, everyone. [On the camera shows an unfamiliar face to a lot, most likely, since Japan arrived with the latest jump. But he's surprisingly calm despite that fact, already looking to be settling himself into... a bar over at deck 024. Hm. There's not too much of a view of that, though, as he keeps the video fixed on himself, standing tall (as he can at 165cm) and confident in his uniform.]

I am looking to find any spare materials both for building furniture and making clothing. It seems there is a lack of both on board aside from the, ah... provided sorts. [Which is clear in his tone he doesn't find worthy or 'enough' at all.]

In exchange for this request to the community, I'm willing to offer my services. That is to say, I am confident in my ability to sew and create clothing, at the very least, so if anyone is interested in such things I would not mind working something out.

Ah... Thank you in advance. I am Japan, by the way, and I will be here to reply to any questions or suggestions.

[After Japan finishes that broadcast Hong Kong's arms snake over the country's shoulders and wrap around him from behind, lips slipping in to kiss Japan's cheek.]

You're gonna do all that mei mei?

[From his tone it's clear he's teasing.]

[There's just a small blink of surprise from Japan at that before he softens his gaze and turns it away just the slightest. To hide any fondness that might show in his expression, is all!]

It is not so much, is it?

Mm. I think so. So I like guess I'm really lucky. Nihon's taking super good care of me.

[He rests his head against Japan's. He noticed how tense Japan was...]

Why don't we go walk the ship?

[They haven't done that together yet. Right?]

[He smiles a bit at that, turning back to him. It's honestly relaxing just being in Hong Kong's company. Knowing he remembers too. That they both came here together, even if Holland doesn't remember and he doesn't seem to recognize anyone else.]

I feel as if I am the one who has run into such luck... [He shifts, turning into Hong Kong more so he can return that kiss on his cheek with one of his own. He's learned to be so bold lately... And honestly he's a little proud of it! He surprised Holland earlier, but clearly in a way that was good.

Still it was unusually open of him wasn't it... To do with someone not Hong Kong.] A walk sounds quite nice about now.

[Settling his arms over Japan's shoulders Hong Kong returns that kiss with a real one. Afterwards he takes Japan's hand and heads for the door with an air of relaxation, freehand shoved casually in his pocket. It's nice just the two of them... Something that's perhaps a little strange to think so often as he does, but he likes it. He'll swing their arms just the slightest as they slowly make their way towards the lift.]

Did you like have anything you wanted to see in particular?

[Something Japan hasn't seen yet maybe? If not Hong Kong has some ideas. The media library or the kitchen... He wants to take Japan to the holodeck some time, but not until he's gotten the hang of working it. ...He wants to do special things for Japan. Nice things.]

[Similarly, Japan has some ideas that are more reserved for when he better understands the place and can truly treat Hong Kong to a nice time out. For now it seems much more casual, and so he looks down thoughtfully as they walk.]

Not currently. I would not mind simply walking the halls, to be quite honest. [It's probably what he's done while 'taking walks' in the morning the past few days.] What about Hong Kong? Is there something that interests him?

[He hums a bit, thoughtful.]

Not too much. We should like go to the media library together some time and find something to watch though. You know? I'm like not done bringing you up on the times just yet!

[Even if it is all alien stuff, but he can work with it.]

It is not a usual hobby of mine, but I'm quite familiar with it. I am good with things that require such steady hands, so... Ah, is there something specific you have in mind, then?

Another couple of suits. My tailor usually charges six figures so I'm guessing I should lower my expectations.

[His face clearly reflects the horror in imagining paying that much for a suit. He has enough of a heart attack when egg prices go up from average...!!

But oh right, he's talking about tailoring here.]

Ah, right... I am quite confident in my abilities, but obviously my skills would not match someone who has chosen this as a profession. Not to mention that I am a little less familiar with Western clothing, even if I wear it... [Hm.] A couple of suits should not be too difficult, however.

That bar I mentioned to Holland-san... It will need a bit more to make it more of a livable environment. It depends on how much is available to use, but I would like to make it more like a true... ah, house. Of sorts. Shelves?

Hn. [He spends a few seconds chewing on his lip and drumming his fingers up his arm.] The empty rooms, on the lower decks. They're unlocked. No one's gonna need the furniture in there.

[Thinking thinking... Ah, actually, Holland is someone he could ask for help or opinion on this.]

Does Holland-san think I could manage to build a kotatsu? ...Even if I must make do without the heating beneath, a blanket over it could be quite nice. It adds a certain feel to a room, as well. [Worrying about a 'feel' of the room in a place like this...]

[Seems silly to agree aloud when he can simply grunt and nod, even though he's eager enough to be - well - something close to resembling chatty. Still reticence wins over. Grunt and nod it is, though it's obvious enough that he's paying rapt attention.]

Yeah. Hard part'll be getting a futon. Makin' one, I guess. Ain't seen any tables that're that hard to scoot under, but there's prob'ly a saw around. Science, engineering.

[Shrug. Somewhere there's a saw around, and if there's not, he'll just gather some branches from the Gardens and whittle some good, sturdy table legs for Japan. Easy.]

It may be difficult... But I intend to try my best at least. I'll have to stop by those departments later to check.

Ah, one more thing that is not so much "furniture"... ...I wonder if there is a spare picture frame anywhere? Does Holland-san know?

They might not like it if they catch ya taking them away.

[Just. Saying. Though with the second thing he bites his lip. He actually does get the desire for a nice "feel" of a room - even if his is absurdly clean and otherwise spartan, it still contains two perfectly level paintings (one of Japan's understated masterpieces, one of Asato's clumsy, terrible first attempts at painting) and a rabbit.

But he only has three canvases left. Frames would be easier.]

I am no longer staying in the room I was assigned. Ah, I am working on taking one of the unused bars and making it a bedroom of sorts for two.

[Hmm... He finds himself staring curiously at the feed though, before glancing away once again.]

I would certainly appreciate the extra set of eyes.

Oh! Neither am I, really. I moved into a friend's room a long time ago.

[He's more interested in what he's heard than self-conscious, eyes a bit wider when he imagines it.]

A bar would have a lot more space, though... not a bad idea.

Ah, the rooms do seem quite cramped... Though I would obviously not suggest that everyone sharing rooms finds a larger one. [They'd run out fast.]
