Greetings, everyone. [On the camera shows an unfamiliar face to a lot, most likely, since Japan arrived with the latest jump. But he's surprisingly calm despite that fact, already looking to be settling himself into... a bar over at deck 024. Hm. There's not too much of a view of that, though, as he keeps the video fixed on himself, standing tall (as he can at 165cm) and confident in his uniform.]

I am looking to find any spare materials both for building furniture and making clothing. It seems there is a lack of both on board aside from the, ah... provided sorts. [Which is clear in his tone he doesn't find worthy or 'enough' at all.]

In exchange for this request to the community, I'm willing to offer my services. That is to say, I am confident in my ability to sew and create clothing, at the very least, so if anyone is interested in such things I would not mind working something out.

Ah... Thank you in advance. I am Japan, by the way, and I will be here to reply to any questions or suggestions.

[After Japan finishes that broadcast Hong Kong's arms snake over the country's shoulders and wrap around him from behind, lips slipping in to kiss Japan's cheek.]

You're gonna do all that mei mei?

[From his tone it's clear he's teasing.]

[There's just a small blink of surprise from Japan at that before he softens his gaze and turns it away just the slightest. To hide any fondness that might show in his expression, is all!]

It is not so much, is it?

Mm. I think so. So I like guess I'm really lucky. Nihon's taking super good care of me.

[He rests his head against Japan's. He noticed how tense Japan was...]

Why don't we go walk the ship?

[They haven't done that together yet. Right?]

[He smiles a bit at that, turning back to him. It's honestly relaxing just being in Hong Kong's company. Knowing he remembers too. That they both came here together, even if Holland doesn't remember and he doesn't seem to recognize anyone else.]

I feel as if I am the one who has run into such luck... [He shifts, turning into Hong Kong more so he can return that kiss on his cheek with one of his own. He's learned to be so bold lately... And honestly he's a little proud of it! He surprised Holland earlier, but clearly in a way that was good.

Still it was unusually open of him wasn't it... To do with someone not Hong Kong.] A walk sounds quite nice about now.

[Settling his arms over Japan's shoulders Hong Kong returns that kiss with a real one. Afterwards he takes Japan's hand and heads for the door with an air of relaxation, freehand shoved casually in his pocket. It's nice just the two of them... Something that's perhaps a little strange to think so often as he does, but he likes it. He'll swing their arms just the slightest as they slowly make their way towards the lift.]

Did you like have anything you wanted to see in particular?

[Something Japan hasn't seen yet maybe? If not Hong Kong has some ideas. The media library or the kitchen... He wants to take Japan to the holodeck some time, but not until he's gotten the hang of working it. ...He wants to do special things for Japan. Nice things.]

[Similarly, Japan has some ideas that are more reserved for when he better understands the place and can truly treat Hong Kong to a nice time out. For now it seems much more casual, and so he looks down thoughtfully as they walk.]

Not currently. I would not mind simply walking the halls, to be quite honest. [It's probably what he's done while 'taking walks' in the morning the past few days.] What about Hong Kong? Is there something that interests him?

[He hums a bit, thoughtful.]

Not too much. We should like go to the media library together some time and find something to watch though. You know? I'm like not done bringing you up on the times just yet!

[Even if it is all alien stuff, but he can work with it.]

How do you like the ship so far?

[There's a small chuckle at that. Media library... It really is great that there is one, the more he thinks about it.]

Perhaps I will one day reach the point where I can recommend some things to watch to Hong Kong.

[Spoken like he intends to make that reality! He can totally catch up okay. He's. Good with stuff. He can pick out awesome alien movies and such. Yeah!]

It is very large. [Which... means he's kind of not quite used to it to the point where he can get around entirely without getting lost, but.] But the technology is interesting... Though there are many things I would do differently.

[This ship needs to be more Japanese but it passes. Basically.]

[Hong Kong stops at the doors to the lift. It's just them on this level. Or so he assumes at least.]

Do you feel lonely?

[He doesn't say it accusingly nor does he sound as if he expects Japan to say one answer or the other. He's just unsure... What it is that's making Japan act so distant lately. Maybe not to him, but- doesn't Japan seem really on edge?

There's a worry there somewhere right...]

[Japan stops with him, glancing over in surprise that only barely shows on his face. Lonely... He instantly realizes that he must be acting in a way that's worrying and he feels sort of guilty for it. Oddly enough. He's been trying really hard to be confident and in control of the situation since they've gotten here, but if it's Hong Kong he can at least talk to him about this.]

...I am not sure how to feel. [The admittance comes out easier than he would have thought, but he looks back with a sort of hesitance.] It is relieving to be away from that place and have Hong Kong still here, but I cannot help but wonder about so many things along with it. Ah... is it strange?

[How he's been acting? This worry?]

[Hong Kong makes a disagreeing noise. Not strange at all. Still he sits down on the floor, pulling on Japan's hand lightly to join him.]

You like. Seem really worried lately. You wanna talk about it?

[It's kind of strange. They haven't really had a talk like this before have they... So upfront and casual. But with Japan it only feels natural to ask this. To want to help... He idly twines his fingers with Japan's a little.]

[He moves to sit down quietly, gripping his own fingers between Hong Kong's as he does. Worried... So he does seem worried. Talk about it though? He guesses it would be best to, but as he thinks on this it's really hard to know where to start. It feels complicated.

Most likely because he hasn't actually addressed it so much as tried to cover it and move along.]

This situation is so similar and so different simultaneously. [It's a lot to take in. Mm... It's still hard to start a conversation like this too. He'll start somewhere more narrow.] ...I was told I have been here before.

[Hong Kong's a little surprised at that.]

Do you remember it?

[He's guessing not, but...]

I do not.

[He looks down at his lap with a sort of focused expression, frowning.]

I was apparently from 2012. Holland-san says my posts should still be available on the network... but I have yet to look. [He doesn't like this feeling of not remembering. What if it happens again? This complicates things so much. Time and... memories.]

[genkigal]

[2012... That's ahead of his own time even. Reaching out he hesitantly touches Japan's face gently before dropping his hand.]

...Well like. That's then. And you're now. You know? [He hates to be echoing Holland like this...] Maybe if we fix this now it'll never even happen.

[Some...how... Time shenanigans are confusing.]

[It's a little nice to be able to speak these things, but he still feels his stomach drop at these thoughts. Facing them directly like this. He hopes it can happen that way, fixing it and being a completely different person than that future Japan who knew nothing.

But what if it's not...?

He hunches over a little in his frowning.]

...My goal is to discover a way to do such a thing. To fix these things and stop all of this confusion. It is just that I wonder where to begin answering a question like "how is this possible?"

[He's not that advanced... Even if he can think out of the box with some things, this isn't getting him anywhere!]

[Hong Kong doesn't have the answers any more than Japan. He turns away to look at the floor a bit before resting his arms over his knees. How is any of this possible... Even if they were given a detailed explanation he's not sure he could ever understand it.]

...I think we should like take it one step at a time. Nobody really knows anything more than us just yet. I think. [There's a bit of a pause. He's not used to taking charge like this. But with Japan it feels OK...] ...I think we should like figure out everything we can now. And like worry about the bigger questions after. You know?

[He's really trying to think this through. He doesn't think he has any of the answers, but he doesn't want Japan to go around being unhappy. It's a hard situation, but... Maybe they should enjoy life while they have it.]

I don't wanna see you frown.

It is not a usual hobby of mine, but I'm quite familiar with it. I am good with things that require such steady hands, so... Ah, is there something specific you have in mind, then?

[At the frown comment... he smiles. He can't help it. But he brings a hand to the side of Hong Kong's face, brushing his bangs aside.]

I agree. I apologize for worrying Hong Kong... [Sometimes he just. Can't stop thinking about things.]

But being in his company is always nice enough to make me smile.

[Looking up at that Hong Kong pauses before leaning over and kissing Japan sweetly. Japan's always so nice...]

So like enjoy your time with me and stop looking so tense. You know? You like haven't even taken me on a date since we got here.

[He did the last two. Obviously it's Japan's turn!!]

[How cocky... Japan likes it though. He gives Hong Kong his own kiss, taking his hand as he moves to stand, pulling him up along with it if he can.]

I am still finding my way around this ship, you realize. Good things cannot be so rushed.

[Hong Kong lets Japan pull him up though afterwards he wraps his arms around Japan from behind again, just enjoying the feeling of having of Japan close. He's fully prepared to walk like his.]

I like expect a really good surprise then.

[Japan can take that as he will.]

[He was thinking about it before, but he guesses now he really has to up his game, huh... He smiles, standing still like that. Hong Kong can't seriously expect him to walk like this can he!]

I will not let Hong Kong down. [He does shift so his hands cover Hong Kong's arms, taking in the nice feeling himself. Physical contact really is surprisingly comforting.] Thank you.

[I should stop being a loser and writing stuff in pinyin but here it is. Anyways that is my beloved treasure it'll probably come up again as he goes through more and more ridiculous things to call Japan. But OK he will hold on a moment longer before surrendering. Letting go he touches Japan's fingers and moves into the lift.]

There's a hall with windows looking out onto space. [I assume from the ship pics anyways.] Let's go there.

[He makes no promises to keep his hands to himself though. Just to let it be known.]
