We don't know the actual cause yet, but there is someone that had dealt with it back home. [ She sends a link to this transmission. Olivia didn't talk to him herself but she did keep a bit of an eye on the transmission. ] Until we have proof otherwise or reason to suspect anyone else, I think it's safe to blame whatever it is that brought us all here. It's used for healing, and the wax is just one part of it. It's the chemicals involved that matter though, so it's probably easier if I just gave you a sample to work with cause I don't know the names of everything involved in making it.
