[The feed comes on to show Taylor looking pretty annoyed, a sharp frown pinching her brows even as something a little more weary lingers in her eyes. Her tone, when she starts speaking, still comes out strong, more authoritative than might be remembered from her before. Her first real announcement as Head of Security, she's keeping her shoulders set and her gaze level.]

I was thinking that this was basic fucking common sense, but seeing as some of you seem to need someone to actually say this shit, I'm gonna lay it out for you.

You don't kill each other, you don't assault each other, you don't steal each other's belongings and you don't damage each other's belongings.

[A pause, making sure those sit clearly before she carries on.]

There is a security team here, we're active and we will take action to enforce these basic rules and rights if we see or are informed of them being broken. Each infraction will be dealt with individually, so don't ask me for a blanket 'what will you do if'. SEC's here to keep everyone safe, not to control your lives. Most of you know the kind of shit we've had to deal with here - if you don't, you should've read about it. It's bigger and it's nastier than this kind of sniping, so calm the fuck down and stop fucking with each other already.

[A moment, keeping the same hard expression before she seems to relax slightly, looking away at something off camera and then back again.]

Personal request: if there's anyone that can do tattooing or just art shit, drop me a message. [A slight motion of her shoulders, almost a shrug.] Been doing them myself, but I want these somewhere I can't get at. Can show you how to do it bare-bones, if you don't know.

[There's a slight reaction to that, Brendan being Tommy's brother's name. With the resemblance to Blake under the glasses and hair, and therefore the resemblance to Arthur and the link to Eames, she can't help feeling like maybe the ship was really fucking with them every tiny way it could.]

[ Brendan catches it--and honestly it's just luck; looking in the right place at the right time. But his gaze sharpens, focuses, becoming a little more serious. ]

Familiar name?

[Taylor isn't naturally given to lying, doesn't like it, but she's developed a skill at skirting around things, half-truths, vague answers. She doesn't know this guy well enough to just outright tell him something about Tommy like that, doesn't know if Tommy would want it spread around, and, at the end of the day, it's not a big thing. Just kind of weird if you think about it too much.]

Irish blood. [A shrug.] It's a common name.

Uh-huh. [ He shrugs lightly, hesitates only briefly afterwards. He's never really been one to trust the authority to much, but she seems blunt and to the point. He respects that at least. ]

Anyone ever get airlocked?

[It wasn't like she'd ever planned to be in a position of authority, definitely not head of anything. She's operated under orders long enough to know what leaders are meant to do, but seeing it from the other side is something else. And the politics side, the talking side, that's not something she'd ever say she was suited to. She frowns slightly, knowing there's a need to let people know what's going on while also keeping some things under wraps for their own safety - or sense of it, at least.]

Talk of one chick that walked out. That's it.

Talk? Who? [ Because now Brendan's curious--very, very curious. And sure, maybe he's prying, but that stuff seems good to hear. ]

[A slight shake of her head.]

Didn't know her myself. Word just spreads around here.

Doll got a name? [ A beat, and then he corrects himself: ] She got a name?

Not one I know. I'd tell you to ask around, but it's a shitty thing to just be asking people about.

Know who wouldn't mind? [ Yeah, he's gonna keep pressing it. ]

No. It's not something I chased.

[And she's frowning at the camera slightly, like she's very close to telling him not to chase it either.]

Someone from the security department not chasing a lead when some doll tails it out the one-way escape route?

Wasn't in charge yet. Things were a mess.
