[ Tommy takes a while to pull up this guy's ID number to see what jump he's from. So the video shows the very interesting shot of someone paging around on their device for a few seconds. ]

[ He'll find that Ryo's from the eighth jump -- he's been here a while, it's just taken him quite a bit to sort out his head. ]

Anyway, it's just nice to see someone else around who isn't necessarily part of the "shoot anything that moves" contingent. [Blake doesn't like guns.]

[ Ryo doesn't care for them much, either, but he believes them to be a necessity sometimes. ]

That's a dangerous mindset to have, both here and back at home. No, I can promise you that I'm not going to go spraying bullets everywhere.

[After lying around listening in on Ryo's conversations and pretending to nap, actually napping, getting up and butting in when he talked to Tyke, wandering out to the kitchen and then returning again, Dee's now stationed himself propped up in bed against the headboard, not even pretending not to be listening in on Ryo's conversations anymore. If he had a book he'd probably be reading it, and the only interesting thing going on on the network he's hearing in person right in front of him anyway. Well, Ryo's side of the conversation, at least.]

[ And when Ryo is done with his own conversations, he shuts the comm device off, standing up and heading over to the bed. He drops down lightly onto it next to Dee, stretching as his leans up and back against headboard of the bed. ]

[Dee leans sideways against Ryo as he settles against the headboard beside him, glancing at the other man as he does]

Was it? [After a while he'd stopped paying attention, especially after so many of them seemed so confused as to why the other man might want to get to know them. It should be a no-brainer, or so he thinks. He's just grateful that there weren't any repeat moments like that incident with that Bells guy or whoever he was. And he even overheard Ryo telling one of them that they're together, a thought that leaves warm, fluttery feelings that are entirely too romantic of him every time he touches on the idea of it]
