[ this would be the pathetically boring intro to a transmission from a girl that's been hiding out the last couple weeks. well, not hiding. avoiding, maybe. too many bad things happening all at once never exactly results in a social Raven. but now she's here, a few things on her mind but nothing she's sure she wants to bring up to the ship at large. although; ]

I should probably think about this more before just asking everyone, but. I think after being here for so long, I'd really like to have a roommate. If anyone's up for that? Like, moving in after the next jump. Maybe. [ her mind immediately goes to Quinn, but she'll bring it up to her personally later on. ] I spend most of my time out and about on the ship, but having someone to hang out with regularly would be pretty groovy. It's just an idea. But if anybody's roommate-less, and would be into moving onto the first floor, um. Let me know! It could be fun.

Also, since I realize it's been a long time since I brought it up, and a lot of new people have come on board since then - Yes, I'm blue. No, I'm not an alien ( although I wouldn't be trying to hide it if I was ), I'm a shapeshifter. This is what I look like when I'm not hidden beneath a shift. No clue why, it's just a genetic. Thing. And I don't mind talking about it at all, either, so if you're curious about it, you can just ask. I've been thinking about it, yeah. I've gotten into this bad habit of just shutting myself in my room after things get bad here, and I know it's not the best way to handle it. I guess maybe having a roommate would make me feel less... alone? During that? The whole dealing process. Which sounds kinda weird since we're on this big ship with a ton of people, but. I dunno. Just an idea.

It's actually not my first time telling everyone, the first time was a few months ago or so. That was the first time we talked, actually. [ grins! ] I think maybe it's easier for me since it's- I can't hide it, not really. I used to! But now it feels wrong, hiding under a shift all the time instead of just walking around looking like the real me. --This whole post thing was mostly just for the people that pass me in the hall and sorta stare instead of actually talking to me. [ shrug ] It's easier than trying to explain every time.
