[Jane's asleep. Jesse has taken to watching over her, because even though he's destroyed the thing that killed her, he can't help remembering the day he woke up next to her lifeless body in the bed they shared. He's afraid she'll slip away again the moment he shuts his eyes. He's desperately exhausted, but the fear grips him and insomnia takes over.

Now, somewhere in the quiet hours, he's staring down at his communicator and focusing on the light to keep him awake while his body screams for rest.

When it's Lisbeth's image that passes over the feed, though, he doesn't have to struggle anymore. Adrenaline gives his heart a sudden leap and he jerks forward. In his reply, his face is barely illuminated by the light of the device and he's whispering:]

Lisbeth.

[But the shock and urgency are clear enough.]

[She's distracted by something, but her head immediately snaps up when she hears her name. Lisbeth is wide-eyed, this time in complete surprise and not her usual gaze.]

Jesse.

[Jesse? But this wasn't-- what?]

Excuse me. Mr. Pinkman?

['Sup. He's spent a lot of time trying to find some open air.]

I've been going to the oxygen gardens when the rooms feel smaller than usual, but I guess there's no real way of getting rid of that feeling completely around here.

[He's actualy sort of in the garden right now. There're those times where he wakes up forgetting time has past since the mental hospital. Or times where he dreams he's drowning. Y'know, totally normal things to wake up feeling.]
