If only they were warmer..I feel very cold. I wonder what this is.

[the feed opens with the kitchens with frodo's voice. ]
I'm told to put my bread here--But there is no fire to be had, how could you crisp my bread and make it warm? You are only a box of some sort.

[ the feed zooms back to  little thing with a mop of curly black hair holding bread now quickly being taken into what appears to be a toaster! the hobbit furrows his brows as as he presses on a strange metal knob and the bread vanishes into strange indentions. ]

I don't understand.  But I suppose I push here..

[ so for a while, at least five to ten minutes you see frodo baggins, sitting alone on a stool, staring at the toaster and muttering to himself: ]

Well, Baggins, you are in quite a place if they have things that can--oh!

[and there is a loud cling as the toaster shoots up the pieces of bread, the hobbit letting out a loud shout of alarm as he leans back, arms up over him protectively until he falls right off the stool with a loud clang, on his rear. the toast ended up joining him! it is now on his stomach and around where he fell and he lies there in mute silence, doe eyes staring up at the cieling dazedly. ]

Well. I don't think we ever had that in the Shire and I do believe I shall never be going too near the kitchens again. There are dangers yet, even in places where there is enough food for a first and second breakfast.

[ the small thing reaches for the toast, staring at it with an uncertain look, and murmurs quietly to himself, audible still ]

It's a toaster, dude. Nothing too scary about it unless you trip and it falls over on you. Then it just sucks.

..What is a toaster?
[ He's so excited, really. Frodo just looks really bewildered and dazed as he stares at his toast. It really is crispy and warm. And ow. So much ow. ]

[ he sounds almost offended as he rises slowly, shaking off the piece of toast in his hair. ]

[nill presses her hands to her mouth in an attempt to stop a sound that isn't there. but her smile turns sympathetic, apologetic. he had just looked so silly, she hadn't been able to help herself.]

..I think so, though I imagine I'll be quite sore.
[ he wrinkles his eyebrows ]
That was--..very strange, Kurt. I don't know what to make of it.

[ringbearer]

[ he just mutters something and rises on slow legs, looking tired indeed. he sighs. ]
Well, my hands are quite warm now. Perhaps despite the..event, I'll get warm by eating this bread.

I don't know what that was..

Hardly. I'm quite beaten by that box!
[ he looks a bit indignant as he stares up at it almost accusingly]

[she's stopped covering her mouth now. she slowly types:]

[ he offers a worn smile. ]

[It's only then that his expression shifts into something - well. It's still critical, but it's directed toward whoever he thinks Frodo was talking to.]

[a nod, and he preoccupies himself by going to a corner, as not to bother anyone. he's rather too small to really do much though, isn't he. ]

[Frodo baby no come out of the corner. Anyway Nill is there about ten minutes later, wearing the jeans and tank top she'd gotten on the station. She was so excited to not have to wear gross Lolita outfits.]

[He points right at the toaster laying on Frodo.] That is. Heats up bread slices, bagels, poptarts, etc. Strudels too but I'm a toast or bagel dude.
