It can be quite fascinating, though I wouldn't get my hopes up too much. While they preformed some experiments they have yet to succeed in inventing a fully functional time machine. Though it would be nice if they could, I'd be very interested in using one. Imagine being able to go back in time and actually see our predecessors aboard this ship in person.
