Present. Although, honestly, I'm only doing this, because I've never had to delve into the deep, deep hacker culture. The basic stuff that a-level hackers were learning in their itty-bitty hacker preschools? I'm down with that. I was down with that in fifth grade. It's this... advanced hacking stuff that's got me turned around. And that doesn't happen often.

So basically... Consider me your SSH and configure me to your whims. I'm ready to embrace... being a student again.

What Topher gets in response isn't a reply in any official sense, but rather a tiny little data package that has been locked up tight with a couple of borrowed encryptions (an amalgam of other people's coding structures and not Aberdeen's, the syntax is different). What's inside the data package isn't clear (though truth be told, it's a Trojan horse that will switch the default language for his communicator to Farsi); what's important is seeing the means by which Topher attempts to open it.

The level of encryption is just beyond his ability range, chosen on purpose. If he does manage to crack it, it'll either have been a fluke, or Topher was holding out on her. And if he doesn't, well. That means his communicator gets to be un-Farsi'ed for another day. ]
