it's a sarcastic statement of brand new information where well known information is withstanding. -what reference is there to get?
i don't fret. being nervous for the lives of these people won't save them nor will it change this list or stop whomever is making said list from doing so. my focuses are on the 'why' primarily, and then seeing where to go from there. all we have is a list. nothing more, nothing less.
I'm annoyed by it. I don't like the fact that someone is apparently "watching" us, and I don't like that it singled out one of about three people I've bothered to actually trust on some level on this ship.
[ not that he cares about anyone who's actually on that list whatever wichita you're crazy shut the fuck up ]
i don't understand the panic immediately incited upon a simple list. we've no idea the connection between the individuals (though conjecture and theorizing can surely suggest), and we've no idea what it's intended for. to be worried is premature.
it was compiled by some person or thing that doesn't have a number, right? isn't that the whole... thing? it's why Stark made an announcement about the creepy red texter. we can't identify who's doing it, so that's freaking everyone out. I guess? though I avoided all of it before this point, so maybe I'm missing stuff.
and tomorrow, i could leave a piece of paper pinned to a fridge in the cafeteria saying a bomb would go off, ripping the airlocks open and killing everyone inside the ship.
there wouldn't be a source, and it might incite a panic, but that doesn't make it grounded in logic.
hypothetically, i disguise my handwriting. i use letters from a newspaper, or someone else's typewriter. another device, in this case, i suppose. i write left-handed to throw off the trail. nobody sees me. i wear a disguise. i eliminate any witnesses, forcibly.
there are too many variables to this situation, and there are too many people who rely incredibly thoroughly on their technology. while technology is a convenience, it is not a god, and nor is some person with a list of numbers, names, and the ability to make a smiling face out of punctuation.
c: is new. assuming that it is another smiled face, that is.
the use of punctuation in attempts to make faces is admittedly still one fairly new to me. but it's been explained. though i'd pick a deep purple. the color is rich.
