[the feed clicks on and we have a redheaded young woman looking at the video feed. she's got the standard crew uniform on for now, since she still hasn't gotten a hold of her armor. she's apparently in a hallway for now but if you look in the back there's a blond haired man standing not far off and scrolling through his own device- but lets get back to the lady.

she looks pretty serious for now, but she tries to smile for the camera.]

Ignoring the other mysteries on this vessel, this is a call for all members of the Freelancer Program. If anyone under that designation is present, report immediately with your status. I'll rebroadcast this request in 24 hours just in case.

[she glances over her shoulder at north for a moment and turns back to the screen, her frown deepening.] And if anyone else aboard has seen a woman in her thirties, blonde hair, responds to South, it would be appreciated if you would leave a message here.

[pause.] And has anyone found any of their personal effects anywhere but in the lockers provided to us? I'm missing a few things.

My things are missing, too. Most likely because they can't really fit in the locker, and whoever put us here decided that they were being generous enough without giving us more storage space.

Agreed. People can get into trouble if they wander around aimlessly on a ship full of foreign tech. But with no system of command around here it might be difficult to convince them to follow.

[she nods a bit at this] I'm still confused by the process. We have Smart AI in my world but they're non-physical entities to begin with. [but then she looks interested- because new species! this is sort of neat] A Turian, then? If you don't mind me asking, where are you from?

There are an awful lot of civilians around, too, not to mention children. Funny how we were all given crew numbers when only a few could function as any kind of a real crew.

It's called Palaven. [ It's cool, Carolina, he doesn't mind the curiosity. ] I haven't been home in a long time, though.

I was wondering that myself. A great number of the people on board are from time periods that don't have knowledge of intergalactic travel- how are they supposed to 'help?'

Palaven is -- a long way off, from Earth. [ In other words, not stated in canon. It's far, though. And hot. We know that much. ] No particular reason. Enlisted with the military and spent most of my time on board a spacecraft, then later took a job working on the Citadel.

Let's just say I haven't had much time for home visits, recently.

[her mouth forms a thin line for a bit and she nods] It does. It does indeed.
