001 ➺ ( accidental ) text

[ this is unusual at best, but john watson is the adapting sort. he has to when his best friend (arguably. loathing as he would be to admit it) is sherlock holmes. this is simply part and par for the course. for the most part, he has kept a low profile, asking questions to find out pertinent information. and even figured out how to use this little device. sort of. it's like a handheld typewriter. fascinating.

except he doesn't know it broadcasts out to everyone. w h o o p s. ]

The imagination is a powerful tool.

Except I cannot help but wonder if this is less imagination and more hallucination. Last I remember, I was at home in the study and the next moment--as if reality itself had shifted--I was covered in an unidentifiable substance. Blue in color, nearly gelatinous in texture but washed away cleanly in the showers. No visible harm, no internal damage from what I can assess. Curious, really.

From what I have gathered this is a ship in space. Seems highly far fetched to me. How is a ship able to move through air and no water? Something does not ring right about this place, as if a mystery is unfolding down each strangely dark corridor. Even some odd demon-like possessions as it were. Surely a place worthy to keep Holmes busy for at least a week.

[ on the other end of the device—and he'd INHERENTLY disagree if anyone saw. but there's almost a nostalgic sort of smile that passes over his lips. but then it's gone nearly as quickly as it came. ]

Too bad you have to miss this, old chap.

I assume you to be bisexual. Saves me the trouble of having to pick for you. Also, didn't peg him for a laundry guy. Do the small woodland creatures help him? [ the lack of response is depressing to tony, let's be perfectly honest. ]

Meant for it to be obvious. If I wanted it to be hidden I would have been, subtle. But not exactly my strong suit. Oops. [ a beat. ha ha there we go. that's what he wanted to hear. ] But you didn't have a scratch on you when you came here, or so the gossip around the ship says. Which means. Not so violent. You faker.

[ and a smile on tony's end that is not necessarily pained but almost bitter. ]

Heard that faking death isn't a nice thing to do to a bro.

Bisexual. [ He repeats the word with a bit of marvel in his voice, like it's some new breed of exotic fish - the name making perfect sense but, well, the term is still very new age if he even recognizes it at all. ] Perhaps the pigeons and the rats when I'm not looking! London is such a long stride away from the forest. [ For a mind that sex hardly passes over, let alone something so silly as identity - especially one that's successfully directed him away from the matter of teachers and the like - there's really not much to stir up. ]

[ Speaking of stirring up, and wherein Tony does a much better job of things, judging by the careful shifting of Holmes' jaw visible even on the feed. He gestures to his right shoulder, eyes narrowing in scrutiny. ]

Well. Save for the- meat hook. [ His hand waves now, vaguely. ] Though is it a story time you're searching for? Doubtlessly it may even hold your attention for a moment or two.

WHO ARE YOU CALLING OLD MAN YOU ANCIENT FUCKER. BRING IT ON

You can have them delivered by train. Or carriage. Just saying. Also, if you keep saying the word it'll lose its effect. Bisexual. Almost like bicycle.

[ ...huh so that's where that came from. ]

In comparison I've got the cooler wound. And mine doesn't even scar. [ granted that's because it's always open, but details. ] Try me. I occasionally like listening to stories and maybe you'll be lucky and I'll stop buzzing around long enough to really listen.

Though at what expense? He'd already full access to Clarence. [ clarence is the turkey don't ask questions ] Or bipedal, I fully understand the intention - it's the conglomerate itself that's new.

Perhaps that much is true, but mine- moreover doesn't glow persistently whilst I'm trying to gain some sleep. Worse yet, a morning after some hearty drinking. Oh, that must be interesting. [ He's running his fingers thoughtfully across his chin. Presumably imagining a hungover Tony falling about and trying not to look at his own chest, probably more so thinking about waterfalls and names that start with M. ] Perhaps you might tell me the story behind your own, should we come to that choice moment you do so feel like sitting still long enough.
