I don't know if you were involved with... everything, but I just- Tell me you're okay? And what happened? Are passengers really starting to turn against each other?

[Someone locked herself in her room once she caught wind of all the talk about mutiny, which she isn't proud of, but what's done is done. Now she's just worried about her friends. :c And basically I just made this hackable in case anyone wants to see the blue girl being blue, or talk to her about what exactly happened.]

[ .... Erik. For a moment he frowns at that, having been so used to giving out his other name. But this is Raven, and Erik instinctively trusts her. ]

You should know me better than that. [ He cracks a soft smile at that, just barely visible before he sobers up. ]

A failed attempt at a mutiny just to bring us all home. Needless to say it failed.

Know you better than to think you'd get involved in something like that? Hmmm. [Missing the point on purpose, yes. But she's smiling, so.]

Why would- I mean, what did get accomplished? Anything?

[ He sees what you're doing there, Raven. But you really should; Erik's been involved in everything just because. ] You know I'd never do anything unless I was personally invested. [ Or something along those lines, he's teasing just as much as you right now. ]

If anything, I expect Kirk and Spock have proven themselves unintentional ringleaders of the entire ship and -- [ Erik pauses momentarily, because fuck these hideous encryption he's not comfortable with. ]

And, um. Yeah, of course we can. [Now she just thinks something is wrong, way to go, Lehnsherr.] Should I head your way?

[ And by that, not at all. Charles was tolerable for Raven he can only imagine what Spock must seem to her, but that's a conversation for another day. ]

[ There's a good chance that gets leaked out in public -- hi Aberdeen -- but he'd rather continue it somewhere where the chance is far far lower. ]

[This is Raven being a tiny bit sheepish because she's not nearly as cautious as Erik about this stuff. But alright, she'll go with it.]

Do people really think that fighting will help get us home?

No. [he shakes his head.] They're impatient and want answers, and some of them think taking charge of this ship will help us get there faster.

Oh. Oh! Well that's-- ambitious. [her tone reads ridiculous/insane/impossible] Are you ever going to tell me if you're actually okay or not? Believe it or not, the tiny video doesn't give me much to work with. [Squinting at it like she's trying to get a better look at him now, hee hee.]

[ Which is fine and all, because Erik wasn't doing anything interesting to begin with besides just loitering. Sitting up, he snaps his fingers to let the door open; one of the few things he found he could do in the meantime, when everything else had failed. ]

[ her tone is clipped enough that raven probably won't believe her, but she's telling the truth on that matter, as much as she ever does. ] Certain individuals are getting frustrated and impatient and seem to think that the best way to get answers is to cause chaos that results in innocents getting hurt.

[ it's not quite that simple, but she's not in the mood to be charitable. ]

[ Oh he noticed her shift there, before switching to text. When he first saw her, after hacking through that shoddy encryption, he had a brief moment where he thought she might be...like him. (Jotun.) But upon closer inspection he realized certain differences (yellow eyes instead of red, and the hair—) but he's intrigued nonetheless.

[ But he doesn't want to be cross with her. He's still too interested in her and knows that the easiest way to get the answers he wants, from his current vantage point, would be to tone it down. Be cool. ]

Just a concerned fellow passenger. You are not the only non-human on board, as I am sure you know. There are representatives of many different races here, gathered from the far-flung reaches of the universe.

I am merely a [ ... ] researcher, seeking knowledge of these different types of people. Harmless, I assure you.

[And suddenly she's hit with how much she misses Charles, again. He'd be able to explain much better than she could. However, there's still a part of her that doesn't really want to.]

The last time anyone showed any interest in my mutation, it was quickly followed by a request to have me locked down in a government facility until they could "figure out what to do with me". You understand why I'm hesitant to divulge someone I've never met before, right? Just be honest - why do you really want to know? If it's for research purposes, I'm not sure I feel like sharing.

[ Mutation. Genetics is a rather unfamiliar subject to him, but he kind of gets the idea. Or at least he's trying to work it out in his head, rubbing his finger over his bottom lip in thought as he stares at the comm device.

He doesn't know Charles, but if he did he'd probably really want to meet him and...have a chat. ]

I'm sorry you had such a terrible experience, but I assure you my intentions are not at all unsavory. [ A lie. But he's not like those suits she's used to, that's for sure, and as for his intentions, well...they may be unsavory but they're definitely not the same as those of the U.S. government. He doesn't mind, being familiar with her preferred shift, though he's always disliked it for a number of reasons. Of all the looks she could transform into, Raven had frequently picked up on that same one. ]

Raven you're making light of a situation and he doesn't quite know how to respond to it, because short of actually getting aggressive and interrogating the one responsible -- unless she means that, in which case, well. He'll take the comment in stride, however. ] depends on what you mean by that. Though I believe Kirk had the opportunity to go after the one responsible. A mutant, yes, by our terms, but I'm not certain I'd call him one of us.

[ Might as well get it all out for Raven, so she can process it one at a time, even if she is hiding right now. ]

What, this? Oh, um. No.. This was just a precaution. [Said as she's standing up, holding out her arms like she's wearing some kind of silly outfit he decided to comment on. Which, in a way, she kind of is. Even if it's an outfit she's grown really attached to over the years.. Alright it's a weird metaphor. By the time she's sitting down next to him, she's blue underneath her clothes.]

And all I meant was did you get to... use your abilities to help people? Stop danger in its tracks. [She leans back against his bed too, turning to look at him. This would be the expression of the girl that's been detached from their reality for a few months now - away from the pressure of Hank's cure and saving a planet that might not be grateful for it just because of who they are and what they can do. Her ideals are almost a perfect patchwork of Charles' and Erik's at this point, but she doesn't honestly realize that yet.

Things are different here, that's all she knows. Erik wouldn't have to use his abilities to defend himself against humans exclusively, because they're all equal here. ..Aren't they?

Although naturally, none of this gets a second thought.]

Do you like Jim? I mean, I know you only just met him, but he's-- I'm just curious.

I'm from Earth, yes. Human, female. On a very basic level, my mutation allows me to shape-shift. My voice, my appearance, everything. My mind is my own, but everything else can change into whoever I want to become.

[ Fair enough, Raven, if we're not going to talk about her shifting, that's fine. Though Erik still doesn't like how it's just around him that she's blue, and not around everyone else, precaution takes precedence; it's why he refers to himself as Magneto, and she wavers in between forms. Erik hasn't formed any ties to anyone aboard the ship, short of Raven herself, but at the least he's managing. ]

I may have. [ And he dips his head slightly, smiling at her words. ] Stopped danger, that is. [ With the help of a few other people, but Erik isn't letting them take complete responsibility, nor is he mentioning that bit to Raven. Someone still prefers his pride. ]

There's nothing to worry about at this point.

[ Nothing she needs to worry about for that matter, especially if she's been talking to Kirk, who had a grip on running the ship easily. He wasn't going to parent Raven, tell her who to talk to, and who to ignore, when she had one: been on the ship longer than him, and two: was capable of making her own decisions since the night she slipped into his bed looking for validation. Sighing, Erik runs a hand through his hair, rolling his eyes at the mention of him. ]

He's... interesting. Sounds like Charles, if he was human. [ Or maybe that's Spock, not Kirk. ] Kirk mentioned you to me [ He says as an afterthought, but Erik had remembered that; it was how they managed to patch things up after Erik's introduction to the man himself. ]
