So. I was showering earlier. Has anyone else noticed someone creeping around the showers? Especially when women go in?

Creepy much? Please stop that, whomever you are. I'm not showering to give you your jollies.

[she gives a look, then coughs, and changes the subject]

Also, I noticed something. We didn't get as many new people this past jump as we've had the last few times. That's odd. I wonder why that's the case.

For those who've just arrived, hello, my name is Dr. Jane Foster. I'm one of the astrophysicists on board, and I've been here for four months now, so I've been through a few of the jumps.

Oh, yes, I'm wanting to speak to Jim Kirk, if I may? I have some questions, if you have time.

I'm glad to see you! I've got so much to tell. Thor's here, and so is his brother, but I haven't met the brother yet.

I noticed that we didn't have as many on board either. It was my second jump.

Yes. I'm pretty sure someone is, because I've seen shadows that aren't others using the showers.

And there are some who've disappeared too. I wonder if there is a connection? Like if there is a limit?

Possibly. From what I understand so far, this vessel is quite huge. I'm sure there would be room for a lot of people. Perhaps only so many can arrive or leave at the one time?

What the hell does an astrophysicist even DO? Is that a fancy term for 'spent all my cash on a fancy degree so I can NOT use it in real life'?

I study the stars and space. My speciality is wormholes, also known as how we manage to move far distances in space. [dry and snippy.]

... Us. I meant us. Get us home. As in everyone. [Augh, being anything but selfish is seriously difficult. Kenzi tries a smile to cover up the fact that she's just in it for herself.]

Just shadows, I'm sorry. Like out of the corner of my eye type.

It's fine. But were you able to discern anything from the shadows? Like height or build, maybe? [ because every bit of information can be helpful. ]

Does the captain mark the census?

[There must be some sort of census, for her to know how many people were brought aboard each time--and she knows the captain, if she's asking after him, so he might have told her the numbers.]

No, that's a project I'm helping another passenger on the ship with. We decided it would be a good idea to get a number of how many are here, when they arrived, and anything else of use.

Well less people to keep up with, but the losses and gains are highly irregular.

As much as I appreciate the female form, and appreciate it more when it's not covered by clothing... even I have an issue with someone creeping around the showers.

I can understand honest appreciation or accidental walking in on someone, but creeping around doesn't do anyone favors. It doesn't make being here any better.
