On behalf of the Support Staff of the good-ship Tranquility, I would like to announce the opening of our very own formal Complaint Box, for all of your bitching needs. Whether we can do anything about it or you just want to get something off your chest, fire away.

If you're new and have any questions that aren't covered in the following welcome manual, just ask. Need any help getting yourself situated, that's what we're also here for.

Do people really think this is the afterlife?

[Still new to the department but yes, questions. Also she can set people on fire if they complain too much but that probably won't help.]

Sometimes they do, yeah.

Guess it'd depend on the complaint. Some people just need to vent.

Oh. It's not very similar. And Hell is much worse.

So we let people get angry at us?

[Okay fire jokes aside, she really does think the worst of people and yeah. Why are you opening them up for everyone to yell at?]

I've no doubt.

Well, it's not letting them yell at US per se, but if somebody has a serious issue with a person, we can either take it up to that department, person, or file it. If it's something about our "wonderful" captains and how they're managing things around here - or lack thereof - we're probably going to have problems getting it to the bastard right away.

[Ai has no idea what Silent Hill is....but if she did she'd probably concede its Hell like qualities.]

I see. So we're going to be the go between, when bad things happen. Or if someone doesn't want to bring something up to their department head?

[She's actually not trying to be totally negative. Just trying to understand their role in this.]

Do you think people will use it for serious things and not just complaining they're stuck in space?

Something like that, yeah. I might've gotten the idea from one of Van Rijn's guys, except I wasn't enthusiastic about spilling info to some faceless person so he could file a "formal complaint" with whoever. So maybe we can keep it a little close to home, is all.

And if they do just complain about being in space, then let them. It's not like we're making any promises that we can FIX everything that's wrong here.

I know people will most likely think of this as a waste of time, and it probably is. But whatever.

We should avoid seeking revenge for people if they ask for it. That doesn't end well.

Yeah no, that is DEFINITELY not part of our job description. Or ANY department's job description, for that matter.

Good....revenge is a never ending cycle. If we get any requests. I can turn them down for you if you like. I have experience in the field.

[Though granted it's mostly giving people their horrible revenge wishes but sometimes they simply don't hate the person enough and she has to turn them down.]

Actually, it was whichever one of Van Rijn's people who offered to file some official complaint on our captain. I decided we could figure that crap out without getting some bozo on the outside involved.

Not really, but if you want to complain about it, then by all means! Maybe somebody will read it.

no thanks, i think banging my head against a wall would honestly give me a better return than shouting my complaints into a void.

[This is all a little overwhelming, to say the least, but the fact that people have compiled information into various sources comes as a relief to Arthur. He'll take whatever information he can find with a grain (or six) of salt, but this? This is far better than nothing.

Well, all things considered... some of 'em might come from a point just before or after they've died, so I can't say I'd blame anybody for comin' to that conclusion.

[Less awkward all around for everyone!! England can pretend he's using a proper telephone, not some sort of strange wireless (but nonetheless extremely interesting and wonderful) boxed bit of technology.

As for what he's just heard, he'll have to chew on that a little.] I'm all for any kind of order to avoid confusion, you can believe that. I've got a question though. How do you know for certain they've actually died? [For someone who can summon other nations through the floor, call on spirits and ghosts, and was raised by fairies, he can be surprisingly skeptical sometimes. Arthur likes to have good information, that's all. At least he sounds more interested than disbelieving, if that helps.]
