[Zoë's not really very comfortable with the technology on the ship yet, but she's a quick learner and has some help adjusting to the learning curve. (Thanks there, husband.) But, there's only so much strange shit that she can take without an actual job to occupy her hours.
Hence why she's doing this.]
Gotta say, wasn't really expectin' the whole power outage in the black like that. Not exactly the most comfortin'. I'd complain to our ship's captain, but from what I hear, he's missin'.
So, what's there to do on this ship, 'sides walkin' around floors and waitin' for things to pop out at me so I can shoot them in the face?

Probably best if I get to fight face-to-face with the things that go bump in the Black.

I'll ask around a bit then.

LIttle does she know they were Wash's monster
Wouldn't surprise her a bit, actually.
What else would they be?
Bunnies? A place without flying? IDEK

[Like her husband. Her very attached husband.]

[Luke doesn't understand this concept of worrying people... usually because he's not aware that he's doing it. Which is probably why he does it so often.]

[And she doesn't need her husband mother-henning her to death.]

[ xoxo captain obvious of the obvious squad ]
May I ask what you did at home, ma'am?
no subject
I was a soldier in the Independents Army. Went on to be second-in-command of a small space vessel after wartime.

Would security, then, be a role in which you would feel comfortable?
no subject
Depends on what that entails exactly.

Audio;
I would suggest taking a job at one of the departments, but it seems as if you've already heard that. There are some hidden gems around here- holodecks, I find particularly interesting. As well as an interesting library.

Hello to you, Laura. Folks've been pitchin' ideas about departments my way, yes. Ain't heard much about the other things on the ship though. Know there's a few nicely stocked bars onboard though.

There are also several gyms, for working out.
What sort of work did you do before you found yourself here?
no subject
Not as much as some of the rest of our crew back home, but enough to keep it in business.
[If you ever had Mudder's Milk, you'd never talk about how bad any of the booze on TQ is. Ever.]
This place is soundin' like a paradise for someone I know. Just needs women drunk enough to sleep with him.
And, truth be told, ended up bein' a smuggler, but started off as a soldier durin' war time.

I'm sure he'd find someone onboard who find him attractive. There are certainly enough people.
[A smuggler. Huh. Laura considers this.]
Ah. I understand how fast things can change during war times. I suppose peace comes with the same.
