Hi, everyone.
My name's Richard Rider, I'm of Earth - Terra - twenty first century, and Nova Prime of the Nova Corps, originally of Xandar. And I work for Security here.
Anyway, just wanted to say, since I don't think I've seen anybody talking about it so far. If I'm speaking out of turn, sorry.
One can again enter the unlit corridors away from the inhabited areas of the ship. I say again, though that's not exactly been the case since I showed up here, but anyway.
Those corridors are dangerous. I know I, nor anyone, can actually stop people from going there, [ never mind that Rich is not very fine with the idea of fear controlling one's decisions ] but if you're a recent arrival, please look into the posts made about the recon missions. Look into what happened to Commander Shepard and one member of her team. Talk to people who've been here for a while about it.
Don't go in there blind. Even if you feel you're all alone here, or you're bored out of your mind - your life, and what might happen to you there, does matter. Try to keep as safe as you can.
Thanks for your attention. Nova Prime out.

I mean, if I've found out that they're no longer inaccessible, others will, too.
private.
Yes, people who are going to go try them will try them regardless, but now additional people might because they know they can. Aren't you on security? Was there any kind of briefing in your department about how to handle the hallways or dissemination of that information?
private.
I don't know, I'd have been more likely to assume people wouldn't try if there weren't, what. Two? Three? posts in a row about people being bored. This way at least there's some chance that they won't mistake the dark places for entertainment.
private.
I'll take that as a no about security.
private.
Probably my fault. Well, my timing here's fault.
[ ... not like everybody's been up to full capacity since the issue's become relevant again. So, affirmative on Rich not having had a briefing. ]
private.
What's your interest in it?
private.
In the corridors? Or in security?

For this message, to keep people from going into them without being aware of the danger.
Personally?
I want to know what gives this ship the power to reach across worlds and time to bring people here and alter them as it does. Chances are that at least part of the answer is in those unlit areas. I kind of want to just fly in there and find it but I'm more... the muscle in any operation than the brains.
I have responsibilities to people here. So I'm staying put until there's either a new organized effort to explore them which will provide at least some measure of safety to everyone else, or until finding out what's there becomes more urgent than everything else.

What do you think you could bring to an expedition that would benefit it?
[ .. Not that he thinks Rich could survive a week on a small team with Erik without getting trapped in a metal pretzel, but. ]
private.
[ ... plus, while Rich's intelligence is above average, he tends to compare himself with his genius baby brother and with Worldmind, basically the gestalt knowledge of a millennia-old culture. It's complicated. ]
Well, I'm nearly indestructible, and even with the limitations of my access to the Nova Force here, I can probably tow the entire ship through space. When I say I'm the muscle... I'm some serious muscle. Oh, and fast, too. I mean, not speedster fast, more like human rocket fast.
[ Metal pretzels are not a problem. ]
private.
I'll keep that in mind.
[ But, hey, one of the humans might die! ]
private.
Yeah.
There wouldn't be so many casualties if there wasn't something to be found there.
private.
[ Seeing as he's actually been. ]
private.
[ And it's not just 'there're dark hallways, gotta find out what's there!' ]
