[ the feed opens with a frustrated sigh and the scratch of a pencil across paper. there is a brief glimpse of a drawing of respectable quality - two young girls in frilly dresses - before DG adjusts the communicator to show herself instead. ]

Okay so-- I know this is a long shot but with people being from all these different worlds or whatever, I've got to ask. [ she takes a quick breath, glances to the sketchbook propped against her knees, and nods. ]

Has anyone heard of a place called the Outer Zone? It's where I was before I was brought here, and...I dunno, I'm just wondering.

[ ariadne does give dg a look at this, her head tilting to the side slightly as she considers it all. dg seems like a fairly levelheaded girl, and she truly seems to believe what she is saying. so ariadne is more then willing to give her a small nod in understanding, turning it into a small - hopefully - reassuring smile. ] I've heard crazier things. Trust me, I'm not about to think you're crazy.

Do you recall what you were doing before you showed up here?

Thanks, that's actually reassuring. [ like a lot, because she felt like she had to talk about this stuff with someone or she would go nuts. ] And kind of? I know I was with my family...and we were watching the suns come out, and--

[ she frowns and shakes her head, unable to pin where the warm light ended and the cold darkness began. ] It was really bright and I was really happy, and then there was Gooville.

You know. I wish there was some sort of pattern to all of this. It seems as no one really has much in common -- besides the obvious of course.

[ a sigh, her nose crinkling as she rubs at the back of her neck in thought.

adding: ] At least that way we could figure out why us. It isn't like we are all have some amazing skills others would find amazingly useful you know. [ which is a bit of a stretch she knows. as she assumes still, there is a great need for her and her ability. but saying that, well, it doesn't seem like the best thing. ]

[ DG nods, a little helplessly. there's so much they don't know and no way of sorting out where to even start.

aaand the zombie messiah princess isn't sure if she should point out her own sorta special-ness either. ]

Yeah, it all seems so random. And I don't...I wanna know why us and just why. Are we supposed to be doing something out here or...what is this?

[ a shrug of her shoulder, and she is giving dg a small smile, before she points out: ] Suppose people need to start being honest with each other first though and I'm not seeing that happening anytime soon. [ as she sure as heck isn't about to tell people what she has been involved in. ]

Until then, we can only assume bits and pieces - maybe start trying to work out some details on why.
