[When the video turns on, it can be seen situated on a table in a corner, various tools and different parts spread out on every inch of the table. Balthier is tossing a screw driver up and down, catching it by the handle each time.]

I suppose it's time for me to make one of these things on the network, seeing as I've been here for some time already, and not many of you know my name. [He smirks.] And you should know my name, seeing as one of these days you'll be calling me "captain".

[He stops tossing the screwdriver and he puts an elbow on the table, leaning to the side.]

As you can see, I've managed to scrounge up a rather lovely array of items from this ship that it doesn't need anymore. Or, something that I know for a fact it doesn't need anymore. But I'm rather lacking in inspiration for something fun right now to make out of them. So, those of you out there, if you find yourself lacking entertainment right now, let's come up with an idea for something. Of course, I would be grateful to anyone who would bring me more parts. We can make a game out of this, or perhaps I could become a balloon animal maker with metal.

In any case, I'm rather bored. And I know for a fact that you're all rather bored, too. There's only so many disappearing doors and corridors that we can deal with before someone starts exhibiting signs of some sort of space dementia.

[He pauses.] Or maybe you're already experiencing it, and hiding it from the rest of us. We all do like our secrets on this ship, don't we?

[He reaches out to turn off the feed, and right before he does so...] The name is Balthier, by the by. For those of you unlucky enough not to know it till now.

They would... they would only do it if something were to happen to me or Fran. [He laughs. He's definitely drunk, and yet, he downs another shot.]

But. But. I'm the leading man. The leading man never dies!

[onsilksheets]

Everybody dies. [She shrugs, putting another shot back.] It's a fact of life. Be you a leading man or not.

But really. We should be focusing on positive, yeah? We're young, alive..drunk..s'all good!

[profligates]

They never die in the stories. That's... that's the whole point of stories! So they never die!

[He raises his glass.] To the death deniers! The travelers of the open skies, and the seekers of something fun. To them! And to us! The ones alive at the end, and drunk at the end of the day!

[onsilksheets]

Stories aren't real. Life is and you just have to accept that Mr. sky pirate.

[Bela tops up her glass.] That was a really, really good toast. You should definitely make them more often because I think people would listen to you. Very, very good.

[profligates]

But stories are real. We just aren't the ones who lived 'em! [His voice was thoughtful until he started snickering.]

I should be... be the toast maker. Not the butter toast. I'm fond of toast. Toastes. Toasts. I... mm. I do like breakfast items. My favorite is banana bread with chocolate chips.

[onsilksheets]

Okay, okay. Fine. Some of them are. [It isn't long until she start to giggle.]

I like toast and jam. It's the best thing ever. Mmmm, that does sound lovely though. If you ever, ever, find chocolate here you have to give it to me.

[profligates]

If I ever find chocolate on here, I'll give it to you, no worries there. [He grins.] I guess we could owe each other those favors again.

[onsilksheets]

You may have just become my new best friend on this ship, Balthier. If there's anything I can do, just let me know.

[profligates]

On that note, I should probably get back to my room and sleep this off.

You want me to come with you?

No, not today. The offer is tempting but I'm drunk and sleepy.
