[Despite working in Comms, Leia hasn't tried to address the rest of the ship since her arrival. But things have been steadily getting worse and she can't ignore it anymore.

Her cheeks are unnaturally flushed and she alternates between shaking and wanting to strip down to nothing from hour to hour. The slight cough she'd disregarded as leftover stress from her arrival, it's gotten worse. The overall picture is of someone who's miserable and ill but is trying to deny it.]

Excuse me, but is there something wrong with the environmental controls on the ship? Who do I talk to about having my room checked over?

[She coughs harshly, a wet sound that quickly turns into a harsh gag. She has to get off the communicator now.]

Help would also be appreciated with opening my door. It's been stuck for the last three hours.

[She turns the comm off just as she starts coughing again.]

[Man, for all the time she's been here, she keeps learning new things.] You would likely speak with those who work in engineering but I am not sure that it will help.

[Someone else who looks ill and is also kind of denying it. But more because elves don't get sick than anything else.]

[Leia cannot be sick. She cannot allow herself to be so weak and vulnerable in such a potentially dangerous situation.]

Engineering? It makes sense, I suppose.

[She coughs again, her flushed face beginning to sweat once more.]

What makes you think it will fail?

[Gosh, you humans are so fragile... then again, she's not allowed to talk right now, a light blanket wrapped around her in her flet.]

If something were wrong with the environment on the ship, you would notice something wrong in the Oxygen Gardens fairly quickly but the plants do not suffer. And the plants all thrive, not even the slightest of wilting.

[Well, that would be sound logic if they weren't talking about a ship that was practically a flying planet.]

It would be a poorly designed system in place on this ship if that were the case. On most space ships I've flown in over the size of personal craft, usually the controls for each floor are independent of one another. Sometimes even different rooms.

[She tries to smile but it's strained due to her cold.]

Three hours would try even a Jedi's patience, I think.

You've been trapped in there for three hours?! Are you okay? You sound like you're coughing pretty badly.

[Now he's scared that there's some kind of gas leak in her room and his sister is dying and oh crap here comes brother, he's racing out of his room and down the hallway to come find you, Leia.

The transmission is still going but it's evident that he's on the move.]

[The sense of relief when she hears his voice is strong and makes her feel just a bit foolish. Maybe she should've contacted him first but her head's been so fuzzy lately.]

[considering that he had just recently been informed that han solo was on the ship, it shouldn't be such a surprise to stiles for him to be looking at princess leia over the network, but it still takes him a moment to process what he's looking at before he can manage to rouse himself to respond.

luckily, this cold has wiped pretty much all of his energy out of him, so he's too exhausted to flail around excitedly at her.]

The ship's been acting all hinky, lately. Not just the doors but the elevators too. Which means getting anywhere right now is sort of like rolling dice.

I don't know, maybe the ship has a cold as well.

Are you telling me that the ship is malfunctioning in multiple areas? What's being done to fix this problem?

[okay so maybe nobody in star wars had ever used the word 'hinky'. his bad.]

Nothing is showing up when we run diagnostics, honestly. But a lot of it fixes itself if you just keep trying. If you have other people coming to help, they'll probably be able to get you out.

[She'd offer to try the door, but she has noticed her abilities do not seem to be working as they once had been.]

[She catches her breath, tired from the coughing and annoyed at being so weak. She attempts a wan smile for the woman she recognizes but it's a rather sad affair.]

I'm afraid I can't go anywhere so long as this door refuses to open, Dr Grey.

No one yet as found a means to open it?

[A pity that- but there was no use on focusing on those who were not here. Scott would have been more helpful in a situation like this, although his blasts would have demolished the door completely.]
