And here I was wondering if I'd be stuck without my favorite casual dress.

[He aims his hand out at a small box or two, and a small energy pulse seems to launch out from it, allowing him to left it up and move it around a bit.]

Things seems to be working, that's always good. Guess I'm ready for duty whenever someone will have me. If there are any jobs that need doing, I can try and give them a shot - I'm pretty good when it comes to big ships and working with my hands. [He needs to actually do some engineering around here, gdit.]

Jussst one last thing to test. [And just like that, a helmet seems to expand out of the back, cover up all of Isaac's face, and seal itself, his voice is muffled, but still clear.]

Is this a custom of your home, to dress in a pair of rather gaudy, and yet slightly disappointing, armor and a mask? You look like you're ready for war, or a badly timed costume party.

More often than you'd think, yeah. As long as it's functional, it works for me.

Would you believe this is a standard Engineering suit where I come from?

I may believe it, but I do wish I didn't. I would think that in being an engineer, you would wish to be comfortable, considering the work you're doing.

This might sound crazy, but I feel more comfortable in armor plating and mag-boots than I do in anything lighter than that. Comes with the - ehem, territory.

That does make a little more sense. I know a fellow who prefers to wear thongs, because he can.

Not in the literal sense, no. - I just don't feel quite safe without my suit. It's saved my ass more times than I care to count.

And you've recently reacquired this... suit? How did that come about?

That I couldn't tell you, looked like it had been in storage for a little while - since the last jump? Honestly couldn't tell you.
