Okay, I was warned this spaceship is creepy, but it goes straight for the visual distortions?
I guess I should introduce myself. Detective John Kennex. If you've come across a synthetic named Dorian with dark hair and blue eyes, a woman named Anna with dark hair and brown eyes, or a small but authoritative woman named Maldonado, let me know. It's important.
Anyway, I'm new and I could use a tour guide. Any volunteers?
[He usually wouldn't ask for a tour guide, but he really wants to learn more about this place.]
[ooc: Just in case you were wondering, in regards to the visual distortions, John's having side effects to a drug.]

How long have you been here? Do you miss home?

But it is not that alone. Forgive me for telling my troubles, it is only that people here seem quite beyond me in form and function.

[His voice softens a little.] Last month?
[He remembers hearing some people had died, but he doesn't know what else happened.] If you don't want to, you don't have to tell me, of course.
shhh you see nothing I am in class
[ she thought again, how best to explain it. ] Take this for instance, you simply invited anyone who would, to join you in walking, and I, as a woman alone, accepted and you thought little to nothing of it, indeed it is usual to you. Never mind who I am, what I am. [ she gestured between them. ] That is unheard of, to me. I brought you no gift, you asked for nothing but company. If I were in my home, I would doubt your integrity utterly for it. [ she left it there, aware it was probably more than he cared to hear. ]
[ she shook her head. ] It is alright. I don't know very much of what occurred in the details. But ghosts, it seemed, or at least it was so for me and it seemed to be everyone else. Hearing things that were not there. It was understandably upsetting when you hear that what you know as dead.
ehehehe casually tags back
[That would suck. He feels bad for bringing up the last part now, too.]
That must be the creepy part Alexis was talking about. That's... unnerving.
ehehehe
[ she caught his hand then, linking her fingers through his and squeezing it briefly before she let go and stepped back. ]
Aye, it was, and utterly miserable. We should speak of something happier.

He doesn't want Elizabeth to be sad, so he smiles.] I agree. But you don't need to filter for my sake. If we're really friends, then we can talk about anything.

I take it from what you have told me, that you know little on how to walk with a lady for it's own pleasure, then?
no subject
[Color him surprised. He holds out his arm.] Are you supposed to hold my arm? Or do I bow or something?
[He's just taking wild guesses to be goofy honestly.]

And she certainly can't just take his arm, at least not all at once, where would be the fun? Instead she lets her fingers brush the back of his hand, then up, before she curled her arm around his lightly. ] Like so.

[She could make him do the hokey pokey really.]

But in the end, she knows little what to do when people reached back for her. Either because she was so unused to it, or because no one in England would have dared. The reaction is as subtle and as restrained as all else about her though. A short stilled breath before she pressed on. ]
We shall start there, else I think it might be a little much for you, and I would much rather you be yourself for the time being.
