There is... someone on the ship who looks exactly like me, but isn't me. Her name is Katherine, and we... Let's just say we don't get along. [ katherine had her aunt/mother-figure stab herself, then got her killed, then killed her brother, has been terrorizing elena for a year and a half... the list goes on. ] She's been fairly quiet here, but if you see me and I'm not behaving normally, it's Katherine, and you should punch her in the face for impersonating me. Again.

This one deserves the punching, trust me. She killed my brother. And is the reason my aunt died. And ruined my boyfriends' lives, and killed my best friend, and tried to kill me at least twice... Punching is the least that Katherine deserves.

She did all those things - and she's just wandering around the ship?

Well, she did all those things back in our home world, or whatever. And like I said, she's behaving now.

I don't think that those kinds of things just get erased because we're living on a spaceship.

Yeah, well, Katherine's a terrible person who manages to outrun karma every time it gets anywhere near her. I've basically learned to just accept it. She's a cockroach, she never dies.

That doesn't make it right.

Of course it doesn't. But there's nothing I can do about it, so I have to just... Find a way to live with it. She didn't start out evil, and I have to be able to forgive her, and be the better person. Hard as that is sometimes.
