There are now three flets, which pass as treehouses, in the gardens. These are homes and if anyone is seen nearing them to gain access, they will be shot on sight. I assure you, an arrow is far more difficult to extract than a bullet. [ #EXPERIENCE, urgh. ] Additionally, you will find the Elven quotient aboard the ship is now officially in charge of garden-based security.
That means we need not apologise if your actions force us to maim you.

Thranduil is indisposed and has appointed myself in his stead. If you have any concerns which fail to be entirely moronic in nature, you may bring them to me.

I intend to serve Thranduil until he is fully recovered. After that, I will dissolve my claim to his protection. [ A pause. ] I trust you will not think ill of me, should I do this, or imagine it reflects on him poorly.
I am not suited to be bound by the terms of those on this ship and while I can better protect the Elves aboard on my own, I would be grateful if you would inform me as to his health, now and then. He will not speak a word of it with anyone, and he is entitled to his pride so I do not further my concerns before him ... but you have the eye of a healer. I would be in remiss and a sorry friend if I did not at least ask this of you.
