[She's been here a lot longer then she thought she would. Clearly whatever is here is more powerful then the Lord of Hell. So since it appears she'll be here for a while longer, it probably wouldn't hurt to learn more about the sort of people she's trapped with. And of course, you'd want to know about the most important topics....]

If you could take revenge on the people who brought you here, would you?

Some people believe revenge will only cause further pain.

What would you do?

If anything causes "further pain" it's letting people like that think they can get away with it.

[He hesitates before responding to the second part. If this person's asking what he thinks they are, that's a bit weird. Why would they want to know?]

["Gory" being a figure of speech. Honest!]

That is one way to look at it.

Not specifics. I only wish to know how far people are going to go for revenge here.

The only way to look at it that makes sense to me.

They deserve their throats cut, at least, but I might not want to dirty my knife on them.

[Okay, that's a bit more graphic than he meant to get. He's angry enough that even text doesn't give him time to pause and evaluate his words.]

Why do you want to know?

I believe it wise to know how people see revenge. How better to find out, then asking about someone who has done them wrong?

You worried someone's going to come after you?

[Why else would she want to know? Or maybe she's looking for pointers. He just can't imagine someone asking about a topic like this for fun.]

No. Simply curious.

Kind of a morbid curiosity, if you don't mind me saying.

Then can I ask what you'd do to them?

[He'd expected something more along the lines of denial, not acceptance. He has a feeling--given all the bizarre people he's met in his life--that he may not want to hear the answer. But, once again, his curiosity has gotten the better of him.]

It doesn't matter what I feel. I must return home, that is all that matters.

We all want to get home, but that doesn't mean we can't crack a few heads before we do. If we can even get back there.

[He doubts it, painful as it is.]

I would be surprised if people did not try. Even if there did turn out to be a way home and it relied solely on them not seeking revenge.

Don't have a lot of faith in the rest of us?

[He's a little insulted, even though there is a possibility that his anger would get the better of him in such a situation.]

I have no reason to.

Don't you think that's kind of harsh?

Not to have faith in complete strangers?

Not when you put it like that. But do you really think we're all idiots?

No. I just know revenge is hard to resist. It has nothing to do with intelligence.

But you can resist it just fine?

[He's skeptical, given his experiences with people.]

But you said you wouldn't do anything to them. So can you resist it?
