i'm sitting, actually. and i'm not even in the way. i tried to help with all the other werewolves, remember? if you think more force will do the trick, maybe we can work together. you do your mind thing and i pull. but i don't think you really believe it'll work, you just don't want to leave knowing people you care about are stuck. neither do i.

[Close, Dana: it's just less "people he cares about" and more "anyone ever." Which is why he doesn't even consider her offer; in his way, he loves Marty too, but Dana's life is just as important as his friend's.]

[ maybe he's so powerful she couldn't fight him. but she's strong now, and fast, and has no problem breaking a bone or two to make her point. nothing he would need to make it to the pods, or anything, dana doesn't want him to die. she admires his tenacity, if nothing else. but enough to get him to leave her alone. ]
