Belittling? [Obviously you don't know Blue that well.] You don't think he's just as concerned for the others in there as you are? Taking your frustration out on those around you isn't helping anything.

He asked if we had tried to force the door. As if we haven't been trying since day 1. I would say that is belittling us, yes. Unless you are claiming that this is a novel idea to you?

You know what's novel? The idea of you getting your head out of your pretentious ass. I know that kid, [and he's not even really a "kid"] and I also know you had no reason to bite his head off like that.

Oh, certainly. No reason save the asinine thing he said. But I suppose the actual fact of his action is inconsequential next to the fact that he's an acquaintance of yours.

[Bigby's part of security too; he knows everyone is on edge. He is, too. But hell if seeing Edgeworth snap at Blue didn't get under his skin even more.]

[And finally, frustrated, he switches over to voice. He sounds like hell - hoarse and mumbly.]

That's not what this is about. It's about his presumption and rudeness.

[Bigby barely pauses at the sudden transition, but Edgeworth's ragged sounding voice doesn't really surprise him. Even for someone like himself, who wasn't too fond of the man, it was difficult to not notice his extreme diligence concerning the whole situation.

If any sympathy is spurred from it, it's hardly noticeable.]

"Rude" is the last thing it was. You just took it the wrong way, since your head probably isn't even on straight anymore.
