[video; open] dated to a few hours after ianto's post
[Jack revives in some sort of storage area with a gasp and more than a little bit of floundering. He's disoriented, as he usually is when he revives, and he can't quite remember what happened. It's coming back to him in flashes, and one of the first flashes he remembers is finding Ianto lying on the ground with...with another crouched over him. The attacker, it was him, he...
Where is he? Where is Ianto?
Surging into action, Jack switches the video channel of his communicator open. He looks pale - whatever happened to him leaves him feeling drained, though of what he can't quite be sure. His eyes are wide and blue and stand out in contrast to the palor of the rest of his complexion. His expression is halfway between exhausted and enraged]
Ianto. Ianto, where are you? Where is he? Some... [He stumbles. He's not steady on his feet yet - whatever killed him drained him more than a simple bullet wound would have]
He was... There was a man, or. Something. In our room. ...I found him on the ground, I. Someone tell me that he's all right, I don't know how long it's been, I couldn't. Ianto...!!
[He's too out of it to realize that yelling for him over the communication device won't make him respond any faster than simply asking for him would. It should be noted that while Jack's shirt is torn and bloody in the same area as the rest of them, though more violently, and with a lot more blood, his body is suspiciously free of any wounds]

Jack?! Jack, thank god...!
[Ianto looks exhausted and pale, and he's been unable to rest properly because he's been out of his mind with worry.]

Ianto. Are you alright? Where... Where are you? I'm coming to find you. [He needs to reassure himself that you're okay]

[His voice is worn and tired, and he slumps back onto the bed. With Jack alive and heading his way, the willpower that's been keeping him going is quickly leaving him and his body's demand for rest is catching up to him.]

[This is wrong. This is wrong beyond anything he has ever witnessed, and in ten thousand years, he's witnessed quite a lot. But more than that, it complicates already-complex matters.]
[It looks like he'll have to play his trump card earlier than expected.]

...You saw it. You saw what's been attacking people?

Jack's looking not too good and pretty drained as weary as he answers, allowing himself the weakness since this is the Doctor and he won't use it against him. He hopes] Yeah, I saw it. Possibly 'him', though I'm not quite sure exactly.
