[The feed opens to one very tired looking guy -- Tyler has not been getting a hell of a lot of sleep in the past few weeks.]

You know I was really, really hoping memory share time was done.

I guess I should be glad this time I didn't have to hold anyone's hand or anything [For a given value of glad, anyway.]

....Has anyone gotten anything about the ship? It looked like the Tranquility, sort of. And there was this guy -- except I guess he wasn't who he was supposed to be. And he had like bird hands -- talons and shit, you know?

It was really weird.

[There's more he wants to say, like he gets why the girl did it -- that he would do anything if he could have saved his own mother, but instead he just hangs up there.]

Memory share time, huh? Well, that is... at least an explanation for the crazy hallucination. At least she's not going mad. Or well. Not more or less mad than anyone else in here, probably.

What, you mean you saw something more interesting than two people talking about a hot prisoner?

[She scoffs, scratches the back of her neck, then shakes her head, as if she can't believe they're having that conversation.]

Scratch that - those were memories?

[ Talons and shit. ]

Was any other part of him birdlike? Or just the hands?

[ Or you know, any other animals that might not seem entirely out of place mixed with bird talons. Gods why. ]

Start at the beginning. What did you see? You can write it down if that helps at all.

[ He's noticed Ruby's comment too, but that could be a coincidence. He'll wait a little longer before sounding any alarms on that front, thanks. ]

What was her name?

[Lockwood hasn't mentioned a woman, but what L experienced was from a woman's point of view. This is the smallest amount of information he can easily suggest to begin to confirm whether or not they experienced the same thing. It's better to ask pointed questions than to spill everything and allow someone to agree with you. The latter is sometimes unhelpful, if you're only told what someone thinks you want to hear. It doesn't lead to information.

He had really hoped that all of this was in the past, a weird anomaly to be remembered with a total lack of fondness. No such luck.]

Starting to get the feeling that a lot of people aren't.

[ sigh. ] Was he with anyone else?

And a woman seeing her dead mother?

That isn't what I saw.

[Alex seems, really fucking on edge. Like got gifted a look into something he shouldn't have seen.]

Was it a shapeshifter?

Interesting is one way to put it.

Disturbing is probably more accurate.

[They had not been fun visions in his head but then again he's been getting kind of used to that.]

I think so? Like before the last jump a lot of us were having our memories projected to one another, feelings shared, it was really weird.

Some woman. Matine, I think her name was.

[He hadn't mentioned the woman but the fact that he's being asked about her makes him think he wasn't the only one to see this one.]

[the look on Alex's face makes him think maybe he doesn't want to know.]

I think we saw the same thing. Did she encounter someone else, apart from the man? Someone who shouldn't have been there.

I don't think so. I think it was a sort of illusion? It wasn't really clear.

[Tyler switches to text then, as it's easier to write it out.]

There was this woman, and I guess she thought she was seeing her dead mother? That's how it started. But then there was this guy she knew...Schue? But it wasn't really him, it was some kind of monster. For a moment he had talons but nothing actually cut into her. It looked like it wanted to eat her -- so she killed it.

Bird hands?

...I don't know why, but that's the creepiest thing I've ever imagined. God, ew. Bird hands.

A woman who saw a man who was masquerading as someone she knew. It was horrible--she shot him. There was the thought...the idea of people eating others.

Did it feel like last month?

Yes. Her mother.

Yeah. It was definitely one of the weirder parts of all of it -- don't think I'll be ridding myself of that image any time soon.

...Yeah. That's what I saw too. But like at one point his hands they were all -- it was weird.

kind of. different too though -- less attached I guess. I didn't feel like I needed to go find and hold their hand. So like the earlier parts, I guess.

Sounds... uncomfortable.

[Great. If this is the kind of stuff she can look forward to, Ruby's not sure how she'll make it out with her sanity intact really.]

So what, we're all experiencing memories related to the ship now?
