[getting padme on the other end of the feed should be enough to keep that anger in check. but between his own irritability due to his lack of sleep and the fact that he knows he has no chance of finding her when she's in the darker parts of the ship, keeping it out of his voice is impossible.]

[Ordinarily, this isn't a conversation she'd allow them to have on the feed. Nor one she'd handle without her customary patience. The circumstances have only weighed further on her exhaustion, and her tone gets clipped as a result]
