[here's the thing with han; han doesn't like it when he tells people to do things and then they do the exact opposite. so while padmé IS DOING SOMETHING PADME ISH, han is just staring at her with his arms crossed and an eyebrow raised.]
What? [Compared to her usual, polite countenance it's a lot more direct- flat out impatient, a combination of exhaustion and present circumstances both. The things she's currently concerning herself with, happen to be fiddling with the feed device, and shifting the sleeping young preteen higher up on her hip, into a far more comfortable position. It's clear that despite her asking, she doesn't really care for the answer]
I'm not saying anything. Because if I had said something, then it would mean that it was perfectly normal for you to get lost in a ship.
[Not that he’s being extremely passive aggressive about this at all.]
You didn't have to. You were staring. [She's not even going to address the last part of this, because she's tired enough to stoop to his level in her own way] The way out, Mr. Solo?
Follow me, your Grace.
Don't call me that. [It's automatic. She’s gotten used to correcting him- And she's fast approaching the point she feels she should just start ignoring him. She will however, follow after him and direct her attention to the feed, you know- the whole reason she turned it on] Cat wandered into the ship, and- we got a little lost. My- [A pause, and she side eyes Han. Flatly] friend here, is going to get us to the main part of the ship. Whoever is responsible for her- If you would meet us there, I would be happy to return her to you.
Seriously, come pick up your kid.
Shut up! [A small, tired voice enters the picture, raising her head briefly off of Padmé's shoulder to address them both, before lowering it again, hand curled stubbornly around the woman's braid. A small trickle of blood appears over the curve of Arya's ear]

[It's a gentle correction, but there's a smile tugging at her mouth regardless. Oh Nomi, never leave] He- Certainly has a unique way of relating to others.

[She honestly doesn't consider it a correction, she was making a joke, thank you kindly.]
And I suppose he does. As prickly as a drexl, but he's got a good heart. I just...stars above, I get like this when I don't sleep well.

[Mostly because the only impression she's been able to get off of you is someone who's kind, certainly- but reasonable. She wouldn't have thought Nomi'd have the patience for that]
This month has been hard on all of us, for similar reasons. I know I'm- Less tolerate than I ought to be, at the moment. [She's still slapped Solo in a category full of question marks, but no- a good heart so far seems to be apt. It doesn't however, excuse his exasperating behaviour]

[Nomi's smile is worn, tired, but genuine. Andur had been good for her, really. And his death...while tragic...had led her down a path she was happy to follow. For his memory at least.]
The same. When I manage...and whenever this is over, I'll try and make it up to him I suppose. He's earned better behavior. Even if he is a bit much.

[She caught that past tense. But seriously, had to be, if they'd given her permission to marry him]
He might appreciate that. [She's doubtful. Han seems like the type that would sooner have it be water under the bridge than have to do anything that might involve mature, adult feelings]

[She pauses, sighing as the memories come flooding back. Sleep deprivation is a pretty insidious thing, really, creeping up on you and making you moody and emotional.]
I would say he was everything a Jedi should be.

[It's a grief she can nearly identify with now, made incomplete in the way that it hasn't happened yet, in the presence of him in this place with her. But it's a kind of cruelty she thinks, to wish the dead back to life here, for something that won't last.
So she doesn't offer anything, but the continued softly spoken words. Less than what she wants to say, but all that's really appropriate in an open channel such as this] I'm sorry for your loss, Master Sunrider. And- I regret that I am unable to meet the both of you, in my own time.

I do not. I don't generally have time for personal matters with all my duties. The war...well...since it ended I haven't really had time to myself. He was named Andur Sunrider and he died fighting to keep Vima and I safe. Eight years ago, now. As he died, he spoke to me in the Force. Urged me to accept my destiny and defend the Galaxy in his stead. Sometimes...I still hear him calling to me. But it's fainter and fainter each time.
[Nomi's voice softens as well, a certain fondness to it under all the sadness and emotion.]
Thank you for saying so. Would that the senators in my time were more like you and Senator Organa.
