Some of you might remember her, even if she were a tiny bit different. ]

I do not suppose they could think of a cruder more degrading manner to bring us all here?

[ an arch of an eyebrow before she abandons the sarcasm.]

Fellow passengers of the Tranquility, I hope this finds you well and by now - thoroughly washed.

[ what. The space goo was the most disgusting thing she had ever experienced and she had seen Arthur eat since she was eleven. ]

I would ask you one question, if you would indulge me. What is the meaning of the numbers our…gracious hosts have carved onto our arms? I know what the symbol does but I am more curious as to why these specific numbers were chosen.

As for our wonderful hosts, whoever they might be - if they are listening I shall say only this, I have grown among very stubborn men; one is a king, the other a crown prince and I can say for certain they would be unhappy indeed if and when they would learn of this. But you will find that perhaps it is I who would pose more of a trouble than them both combined.

[ she inclines her head, ever the lady before meeting the dragon's gaze ]

As far as I know, the first numbers, or rather, dashes changes when one joins a department, the appropriate abbreviation appearing. The second set of three refers to the new jump's numbers — that is, the sequential group number you arrived in. 001 is the first round of alien people to arrive aboard the Tranquility that we know of, then 002, and so on and so forth. I've no idea about the last trio, though, I'm afraid.

Two out of three is impressive already. I have not heard of these departments. Then the numbers come to be a title of a sort? I do not suppose they could simply learn our names as some brigands of my land would do.

Well, not to be morbid but reducing us to numbers rather than names is, ah, dehumanizing, which could be the effect our captors were hoping for.

[ a n y w a y ] I haven't researched it thoroughly, but I think it could be personal, almost. Seven is a meaningful number for me, you see, and it's my last trio.

My lady, the numbers mean the number of 'jumps'. Each month we wake up in the manner you did when you arrive here. And the number, I am told, means how many times it has happened.

[ and it worries her a bit; if the dragon would deem someone a danger and try to attack then how is Morgana supposed to stop her? Dragons are not pets but this one rubs its head against the silk of her gown. ]

His Majesty, the King of Elves had said we are meant to be companions, she and I and my company pleases her and I will not chase her away.

[ but she bites her lip. ]

But a living dragon, Merlin; I thought Uther had all but slayed them down to the last one.

[merlin tries to put her at ease, though he still has enough questions to not entirely be at ease himself. but morgana's words have given him a chance that he doesn't dare pass up.]

What if he was wrong about them? As wrong as he was about magic.

[ will speaks quietly, but he uses voice because it allows him to do other things while conversing. or... murmuring to himself in reply to her post, really. ]

That's a good question. They cover floor and housing, sure, but it'd be interesting to look at vertical and horizontal compatibility. How random is the selection across the floor? And what about everyone with the same second number, what do they all have in common?

My maidservant had said one set of numbers come to represent the number of the - jump? that has passed since the very first one. Those who will have 001 would be the first arrivals to this ship. an odd thing to think it was empty before then.

[ or perhaps not empty at all; Morgana remembers well feeling as if something was just beyond her sight when she arrived. ]

Fallacious. They live on the first floor, but for all we know there's another set of rooms somewhere. But for all intents and purposes sure, they were the first arrivals — for this group with this particular numbering style.

Anyway, he recovers rather well, for meeting one of the witches on the Famous Witches and Wizards card. One he's not certain how to feel about as well. Oh, but come on, she's fit--]

One question at the time, sweet Eponine and I will answer them all. They do not hurt us, so much is true; if any, they are useful on the ship and still. I care to know if only because I feel the number comes where my name should be to our kidnappers.

Everyone already has the first part of the actual numbers covered, but— the second set, might depend on the person? I mean I know some of these numbers are just sort of look like they were random, but I mean— mine has meaning to me.

What sort of a meaning? do not tell me it all if you do not wish to, simply answer me this - do the combination means something to you or each number individually?
