[It's rare that Tyke makes a post to the network not looking annoyed, but this time there's obviously some attempt to smooth it over, to keep her tone neutral.]

Manfred von Karma's death has been found to be self-inflicted. Miles Edgeworth has been released.

[It looks like that's going to be it, because she doesn't want to explain the outlying circumstances or invite questions on Edgeworth's innocence. But then all of the annoyance she's been keeping tamped down rises to the surface, irritation clear in her expression and her voice as she continues-]

You find a scene like that, you report it to SEC, and you don't fucking touch anything.

[That's it. She cuts the video before her temper can get any worse.]

[He tries to work up the energy to wince or feel guilty when he sees her anger and irritation, but...Honestly, he's spent of feelings after these past few days. Instead, quietly, in the tones of a man who's really hoping the response to his offer is no:]

[Jack's working on getting to know her personally, but he doesn't need to be a psychic to know that she's pissed. He encrypts the message somewhat, hoping that will get something of a response out of her. He wants to know more.]

[Ianto is somewhere in the background, and can be heard faintly scoffing]

Remind me, Jack, how many times did we disrespect crime scene protocol in the course of our work?

No. [Mostly because she doesn't think anyone needs to know the details surrounding the whole thing, and if they insist on it, she's going to be able to handle that better than him getting harassed for personal information.] I've got it, Edgeworth.

[She doesn't have a good opinion of the ship's general population right now.]

Like this? [As in murders, instead of deaths caused by whatever hell the ship decides to give them.] No.

[There's the sound of a quiet breath - a soft sound of relief.]

[She takes a breath, some of the irritation draining away. Sparring or similar sounds like a really good idea right now, if she could.]

[He's quiet, maybe a tad ashamed.]

[More than she should be, inexplicably healed during the jump. But she'd still been left with muscle weakness that she's slowly been trying to train back up.]

[Which isn't wholly accurate, since little enough of that happened by his choice. But...her life is difficult; she deserves someone to blame, or be angry at, at least a little bit.]

Think he's got enough to worry about.

[There's a pause. She hadn't really meant him, but saying so on an open feed is going to either look like hypocrisy or give too much away.]

[Though she hadn't really known he knew Edgeworth - enough for it to be relief.]

[That gets a snorted laugh.]
