I had hoped there had been a clerical error, on the universal scale, and I would find myself sent home--to any place I call home--when the ship next jumped, but this does not seem to have been the case.

Therefore, I suppose the only sensible thing would be to stop skulking around, and introduce myself. I'm Cordelia Vorkosigan. And if I'm to be... I think I shall do that. I find in-person introductions to be nicer, personally. Though that's just personal preference, of course.

Mm, an interesting question. Whether the closer technology comes to verisimilitude, if it is then better? But I think perhaps, for some people, there is no substitute for real life, no matter how good the technology is.
