[Jack tries not to poke his head in where it doesn't belong, and he tries to let his friends be their own people. But he hasn't seen Tosh since the jump, and since it's been a week now, he's assuming the worst. People have gone off wandering into the depths of the ship though, maybe she's headed that way? Point is, they haven't seen or heard from her in over a week and that's unnerving for him.]

Has anyone out there seen Tosh lately? Toshiko Sato? Gorgeous Asian girl, works in communications?

[He smiles to hide the fact that he's worried, though if you know him, you can definitely tell. Hell, even if you don't know him, you can probably tell as well.]

Just before the last jump. [He looks unhappy as well.] I was...distracted. I didn't get a chance to try and catch up with her after this one. [Read: he's not sure whether she made it through this one or not.]

ooc: don't even worry about it! i took an unofficial hiatus with mason for two weeks, anyways, so it's all good.

[ His frown deepens at that, though he can't really hold it against him for not being able to catch up with her. It's not like Mason's never had a rough jump before. ] I'm guessing you've tried messaging her?

Yeah. Damn near broke down her door trying to see if she was in there too.

Great. [ He sighs through his nose. ] I'll keep an eye out for her and let you know if I see her, but I've got a feeling it's not gonna happen.

[Jack doesn't want to admit this to himself, but you're right.]

I'm Jack, by the way. Captain Jack Harkness. We worked together back home, me and Tosh - I was her boss. [And her captain.] And you are?

Nice to meet you, Captain. [ That's probably the only time Mason will ever call him that. ] Mason. We talked a couple times; she was nice.

Good to meet you, too, Mason. And you can call me Jack, it's fine. Not the captain of this ship, anyway.

You'll let me know if you see her around, yeah? [Although he's really not all that hopeful.]

[ He nods slightly. ] Yeah. Can't say I'm really expecting to, but if I do, you'll be the first person I contact.
