[Jack tries not to poke his head in where it doesn't belong, and he tries to let his friends be their own people. But he hasn't seen Tosh since the jump, and since it's been a week now, he's assuming the worst. People have gone off wandering into the depths of the ship though, maybe she's headed that way? Point is, they haven't seen or heard from her in over a week and that's unnerving for him.]

Has anyone out there seen Tosh lately? Toshiko Sato? Gorgeous Asian girl, works in communications?

[He smiles to hide the fact that he's worried, though if you know him, you can definitely tell. Hell, even if you don't know him, you can probably tell as well.]

I thought it was just us. I mean, I coulda understood if she'd gotten tired of us and gone off to do her own thing, but...

No. I was kind of hoping that she'd just lost her mind and chained herself to her desk, but. Sounds like you haven't seen her lately either.

[Damn it just about sums it up, yeah. All signs are pointing to her having disappeared at the last jump, but he doesn't want to believe it. Not Tosh. They can't have let her return to her death. He didn't even get to say goodbye...]

If you need to talk about it... I'm gonna say a few words at chapel tomorrow about her dedication, how much she gave to the people on the ship, even if they didn't know it.

I uh... The memorial wall she was keeping up to date. It ought to be maintained by someone who understood how much work she put into it.

She's my friend from back home. I know what happens to her when she goes back, and. I was hoping that's wasn't what had happened.

She is. I don't know to trust whatever the devices say, either. Tosh... She's good with computers. She might have found a way around things, if she didn't want to be found.

[He's hoping that's what's going on here. But he's starting to think that maybe that's not the case.]

Has a search party been formed?

None has yet. I was hoping that she might come out of the shadows with this post, if I'm being honest. Or at least that someone might have seen her.

[He'd been hoping, but he knew better. Ever the optimist, Jack Harkness is. Still, he needs to exhaust all the other options before he'll let himself give up on her.]

I will investigate the passenger quarters at large before moving into ship's divisions and public access quarters. If you are not averse to the suggestion, I will initiate radio contact on the affirmation of each sector.

Whatever you think needs to be done, Spock. If she's still on the ship, I want her found. Other's have gone missing in the past few days. We can't go ruling anything out right now.

[Alright, give him some detective work, he can do that. Maybe if he can't save Tosh, at least Jenna is another trail to follow. He doesn't miss that note in Ianto's voice though.]

First thing I tried. I can't get a signal for either of them.

When did you last see or talk to her? [ Mason doesn't look very happy; he liked Tosh. ]

Just before the last jump. [He looks unhappy as well.] I was...distracted. I didn't get a chance to try and catch up with her after this one. [Read: he's not sure whether she made it through this one or not.]

ooc: don't even worry about it! i took an unofficial hiatus with mason for two weeks, anyways, so it's all good.

[ His frown deepens at that, though he can't really hold it against him for not being able to catch up with her. It's not like Mason's never had a rough jump before. ] I'm guessing you've tried messaging her?

Yeah. Damn near broke down her door trying to see if she was in there too.

Great. [ He sighs through his nose. ] I'll keep an eye out for her and let you know if I see her, but I've got a feeling it's not gonna happen.

[Jack doesn't want to admit this to himself, but you're right.]

Nothing strange in particular, but I know Tosh. She has a curious mind, and there's all sorts of trouble she could have gotten herself involved in, in a place like this.
