So, most 'a you already know that a few of us did some exploring of the deeper parts of the ship last month, and found a painting that seemed dead set on stalking us through the hallways. Jaye put up pictures of the thing if you missed that somehow. If anyone with chemistry skills has some free time, I've got a bottle here with some of the paint, or whatever it is, that I flaked off of one instance of the painting, since we thought it might be helpful to know what exactly a moving mural is made of. Lemme know if you're interested.

Sure did. At first we thought it could just be different versions of the same painting, but they were identical, not just similar. An' then one night we went to sleep, an' woke up with it looming over our heads in the hallway. Hadn't been there before. I wouldn't have thought it possible, but it looks like it is.

I don't doubt it's not alive. Living paintings aren't exactly real likely. I'd thought it might be some kinda solid-light hologram, but I couldn't find anything that'd project something like that in those hallways. That's why I got a sample of it.

More like find ways to eliminate more choices from what's left over until we know what it really is. That's up to the science department, though. I just find the stuff an' bring it back.
