[ He looks very serious, Azari does, as he addresses the network ] Um, I don't really... have anything to say about what's been happening, as I didn't know the... deceased folks. I'm very sorry to their friends, and any family they might've had here. I... I'm really sorry, I'm sorry for what you're going through right now. It's never easy losing someone you love.

[ He falls silent for a moment, pursing his lips thoughtfully ]

But because of all this, if anyone is feeling unsafe or would like someone to accompany them to and from their room to the med bay or shuttle bay or wherever you need to go, I would be willing to do it. Just let me know.

I should warn you, though -- we did have some trouble last month, and the shuttle bay isn't quite in the same state yet.

[ Azari smiles a little, too - and if it weren't for the way he's not ducking his head or anything, it would almost look shy. Precious kitten. ] Thank you, ma'am.

[ aaand here is the concern ] Trouble? What happened? Can I help at all?

[ D'awww. ] Carolyn's fine, you know.

Three people tried to steal a shuttle. We stopped them, but it was a mess. Casey's still got a broken arm.

Yes m-- um. Carolyn. [ Yeah, he'll be back to ma'ams soon. IT'LL WEAR OFF EVENTUALLY? ]

Why would they try to do that? It's not like we have any idea where we are, right? Space is huge, if you don't know exactly where you're going, you'll never get there!

[ She can work with eventually. ] Fry works, too. [ It's what people had called her the most, back home. ]

They were desperate, I think. Desperate enough to risk it, despite at least one of them knowing none of the shuttles have enough fuel to get back to Earth -- which was their planned destination.

I'll keep that in mind. [ Nah, still weird. ]

[ Cue facepalm ] People are prone to panic and bad decisions when they're desperate and stressed. I mean, I know it's true, it's a common thread all through history. But I still don't understand it.

I don't either. [ She sighs. ] We're all going to be a little tense down there for a while, though -- I figured I should warn you, and fill you in on what you missed.

Thanks. I'll do my best to not get under foot or anything. [ And do ALL THE HELPING. Don't forget that. ]

Man, [ Peter sounds just a bit too relieved this time, with Azari's face here, and seeing Tony back at the pods, and it's funny really, but he feels like he fits in here, with people to look forward to and ensure they're safe. ]

I-- [ he still hasn't gotten over the awkwardness though. ] yeah, things are fine, I just. Next time you get stuck in there, I'm gonna break that tank.

[ Just saying. ]

[ Azari feels the same way, Peter. You can tell by the fact that his serious-and-worried expression relaxes noticeably when he responds ]

I don't blame you. Good to see you're still up and about, though. Man. This place is going all kinds of crazy, huh?

[ Twice as crazy man, with Peter fussing over both Tony and Azari's pods and then all of these as soon as the jump ended, and his mind's kinda unraveling by now. ]

I'm just glad everyone I know is still safe. You're not gonna do things alone, are you?

Walk people back and forth to places if they ask, but anything more risky, no way.

I mean, it looked like both of them were kind of off the beaten path so to speak, right? So I figure walking people places is more a peace of mind and better safe than sorry thing, if anyone wants to take me up on it. I feel like I've gotta do something, but I'm not dumb enough to go off by myself to do it. I am definitely easier to kill than a giant walking rock person.

Well, you've got something going for you anyway, and that's at least the fact that you're willing to try. [ Really, that's a good thing, Azari. ] Besides, you can outrun me, so if anything happens, just run. Or something, I guess.

[ Peter runs a hand through his hair. ]

Listen, uh, if you ever want company, just you know, ask me. Better than standing around waiting for whomever you're going with.

[Francis knew Chase. considered her one of his Avengers. he'd just talked to her when they got out of the pods

Yeah. Figured it'd make things easier. [he shrugs] And I don't know. Whatever killed her's gone.

Yeah, well. She was dumb enough to go off on her own. [someone doesn't cope well]

[ sigh ] Doesn't make it any less awful. Why would she even do that?

[ dry ] Wow, I never would've guessed. I meant what was she even hoping to accomplish? Does anyone know?

Yeah, she should. She should, but she didn't, and now she's dead.

[ quietly ] You were close to her, huh?

I'm... I'm really sorry. For your loss. [ faint sigh ] That's such a useless sentiment. It doesn't really help any. But I am. Losing somebody you love really sucks, and I don't wish it on anybody.

She was... [Like family, kind of. He was more than happy to have known her, in any case, that they happened to have run into each other the day that one of his birds died. She was special, too.

[At one point, Murphy would have spites words like those. He hated it when people acted like they understood what he was going through. What it was like to watch your son's body being pulled from the lake, tossed in a canvas sack like he was garbage. And now Chase...]

It's not useless. I mean... it happens. I wish it didn't. When I first showed up here, this ship had already been goin' for half a year -- a month later, a guy missed a jump. Didn't make it. Think that was the first time someone died here. I didn't know the guy, but...

[He takes a moment, breathes through his nose. He remembers what it felt like when he had found Heather. He didn't know her friend, but his heart went out to her nevertheless.]

Yeah, losin' someone... it sucks.

[Tony has actually started to cut back on the drinking. Just slightly. He'd been hit with so many things since his arrival here that it had actually gotten worse, but with his little canon update he's gotten back the distance that he'd worked so hard to attain in the first place.]
