Perhaps this has been discussed amongst those of you previously inhabiting this ship, but I'm looking for more definite information about these 'jumps' I've heard so much about. If anyone knows what happens during them, specifically...

From what I've been able to gather, the jump drive creates some kind of artificial wormhole, using it to pass between two different points in space.

It must have worked if you understood it as such.

Then the system must be similar in some way to that of FTL drives. Very interesting.

Sadly such a thing had not been accomplished yet on Earth. I would indeed be curious to know how this is possible.

There's limited information available, but from what we do know there's some variation in both the length of time experienced by those not in the gravity couches and the general environment.

Doesn't seem like the most efficient or wisest travel method if you ask me. Month-long mists of blood aren't a good sign any way you look at them.

It does seem to put a risk on the human passengers. What of those who were absent from the couches during the jumps then? Did their weak bodies even withstand the extreme conditions?
