[ Hello Ax, have a slightly nervous – yet trying like hell to keep her calm – looking Ariadne. She is just going to be looking into the device a moment, as she attempts to figure out what exactly she wants to say – or really how she wants to word her thoughts. (She has a lot of thoughts right now, okay?)

A small smile, slightly forced, but nonetheless a smile appears on her face then, as she takes a deep breath finally speaking. ] Would anyone be willing to create a roster of sort of – a passenger manifest of some kind? [ A pause, brows raised hopeful, as she is going to be looking into the screen, just wanting to give everyone a moment to think this idea over. ] It seems like a good way to figure whose who here.

[ Her nose crinkles slightly then, as she quickly moves on to her next thought. ] And I’ve been working on those maps and I’m wondering if anyone has anything to contribute to them -- namely in the area of that creepy door?

If you have any would you let me know? I’d like to get the maps fully drawn out soon.

[There's a significant pause before Ianto speaks, selecting his words carefully. He doesn't want to misrepresent the situation, but his feelings on the subject can't be masked. This is still difficult to talk about, years later.]

There's someone here who I know to belong to a race of beings I can only describe as evil. They killed many people people I knew, and one I loved. They would have killed a great deal more if they hadn't been stopped. The one on board insists he's different, and I've seen some evidence to support that. I've had people I trust vouch for his sincerity. Unfortunately, it's not his sincerity I'm worried about. The way his people function... they're programmed, and the programming is both strong and insidious. I worry that no matter his personal intentions, that programming could reactivate without warning.

[ Ariadne clearly pauses at his words, her brow furrowing as she considers all that he is saying. She has a slight inclination to possibly defend whom she thinks he is referring to, but yet, she can't help but wonder if she made the mistake to trust him as well.

Almost hesitantly she finally speaks: ] Do you mean Kroton?

[He's a little surprised that Ariadne already knows him.]

...Yes. I don't-- My goal isn't to vilify him, I just-- [He takes a breath] I've seen it, is all. I've seen people try to fight the cyber influence; strong people. I want to believe that he isn't a threat, but I can't. I'll never be able to.

[ a small sigh as she honestly isn't sure what to make of this. ] He's been actually fairly helpful to me a few times. [ a beat. ] He even noted how areas felt strange.

Do you think there is a chance something could short circuit with him? [ she obviously doesn't want to think the worst, but she clearly doesn't know much about Kroton - just what he has shared with her. And she honestly would like to think she could trust him. But she also knows looks can always be deceiving. ]

[Ianto takes a long moment to deliberate. If Kroton is trying to be a regular person, Ianto would be wrong to deprive him of a friend on his fears and prejudices alone. But fears die hard, and he doesn't want to see some poor, trusting girl end up converted, either.]

I think...if he's helpful, then there's no reason not to accept his help. Just...be careful. If anything seems off, if he says something out of sorts, don't brush it off. There's a man on board who calls himself the Doctor. Just the title, nothing after it. Call him if something goes wrong, and he'll know how to sort it.

[In that much, Ianto more than trusts the Doctor.]

[ it's a long moment silence before ariadne is saying anything again. enough time for her to wrap her mind around the whole idea though, as she clearly isn't one to just trust everyone. but there obviously is a few she seems to find a bit more capable then the others. and if this man seems willing to offer this advice, he clear seems more capable. ]

Chase has mentioned him before. [ the doctor that is. ] If something seems amiss with Kroton, I will definitely be making notes of it.

[ adding: ] I'm Ariadne by the way.

With his reputation, I'm not surprised. Thank you. That's really all I want, for people to be cautious.

It's nice to meet you, Mr. Jones. [ which sounds slightly awkward to her - given the circumstances of course. ]

If I see anything, I will be sure to let you know. And I'll be sure to let my friends -- whom I trust - know of this as well. Least having a group of us working together seems like a good thing.
