fifth shot; video
Two things. One, I'm one of the flight officers now. Name's Clint Barton.
Second... Still looking for some materials. If anyone has an extra mattress you don't want, I'll take it off your hands. Old winter coats, scraps of clothes from home you'd like to see someone tear up? I'll take those, too.
[He is about to end the feed when he has an additional thought:]
If you see a little dark-haired kid in a suit in places he's not supposed to be, let me know. He answers to "Anthony".
[Satisfied now, Clint slings a quiver of arrows and a sleek black bow over his shoulder before shutting off the transmission.]
[Text to Ultimates/allied Avengers; encryption 100%]
Did anyone else have an issue with those masks? I haven't felt right since those things showed up.

action;
[She steps in, giving his room a glance around before looking back at him. After a moment she tilts her head to the side, and decides to bring something else up before asking where he's been keeping the mask.]
You look like someone gave you some bad news. Is something else wrong?
action;
[He motions for her to sit before clearing some things out in the room. The purple uniform he'd rather forget is quickly stashed away, and in its stead, he holds the mask.]
action;
[Wanda takes a seat when he offers one wordlessly, watching him put the uniform away. She recognizes it of course, but he's not wearing it which is good, really, especially with that giant target on his forehead.
The appearance of the mask quickly draws her attention, however, and she holds out her hand for it immediately.]
Here, I'll take it off your hands.
action;
Look familiar?
action;
Knowing what he was like when he wore that uniform, how he behaved, his general attitude, she can't find it difficult to see his behavior being altered by such a thing.]
I'm surprised you put it on at all, considering.
[Considering he didn't seem like the same man she'd remembered then.]
action;
[He gives the thing a venomous glare.]
I just did. But that's not me anymore. That mask. The way it made me act. The things I saw.
action;
No, it isn't at all.
[And she's very glad for that fact. It's somewhat of a relief to see that he's moved on from the grief that made him behave the way he had. Wanda runs her fingers over the mask, and after a moment sets it beside her.]
I'll keep it safe and away from you, so you won't have to worry about it any longer, Clint.
action;
I hope you can. I don't need that, not here. Not anywhere.
action;
She looks up at him, expression full of some understanding and entirely intent.]
You can trust me. I'll take care of it for you, I promise.
action;
[He's a different man, now. And the world is a different place.
Besides... Laura always did like Wanda.]
action;
Dead or alive, it would seem, yes.
[Taking a deep breath, Wanda sighs. It's been over a week since her arrival, over a week since remembering her death, and no, she still doesn't know what to make of it or what to do with the knowledge.]
action;
Alive. You're stuck with us, like it or not.
action;
Then I suppose it's a good thing I like it.
[The being alive thing still feels debatable but it's hardly anything she can argue with him.]
action;
You don't have that many options just yet, anyway.
action;
[After enjoying a brief verbal dance with Miles she'd agreed to it, though Wanda didn't actively feel like joining a team just yet. Wasn't she already part of one?]
action;
[Can you tell he's unimpressed?]
action;
Of course. Is there anything I should know before speaking with him?
action;
action;
action;
action;
[She can handle herself around him, and really he's proving a formidable opponent which is, well, entertaining for her.]
action;
So if we have one hand in flight, one hand in sec, and a third... we can get Tony into some science or engineering... we'll be set.
action;
So you think I should consider joining then?
[She tilts her head, watching him carefully, but with her next sentence comes a wave of her hand.]
I would wonder if there would be concerns about...split loyalties or something.
action;
action;
[She shrugs her shoulders lightly.]
The question becomes, what happens if I join a ship-crew and suddenly these two teams I'm part of come into conflict?
