[Despite all of the incredible and sometimes unbelievable things that Wanda’s seen and experienced in her life, nothing quite prepares her for her arrival on the Tranquility. It isn’t even the fact that she’s unexpectedly woken up on a spaceship that throws her off-balance (though it's quite unexpected), or even the fact that time and space and reality seem to work differently there (because really she's sort of used to that). It's that Pietro isn’t there during a decidedly difficult point in her life (after-life?) that impacts her the most. She can’t remember a time they've ever been parted in such a way, and the feeling is extremely unsettling.
Taking a deep breath, she sets her communication device to broadcast her message in video. She's dressed in her Ultimates uniform, though only the top of the red leather shows on screen. By all appearances seems to be in her early to mid-twenties, with an unusual amount of confident and poise evident in her body language.]
Good evening, my name is Wanda Maximoff and I'm another of the recent arrivals.
[Of course, it's not her real last name, but both she and Pietro adopted it after breaking ties with their father, and it was far easier to go through life not reminding people that they were the children of the infamous Magneto.]
I'm looking for any information regarding my brother, Pietro. It seems that he did not arrive with me, but considering the nature of where we are and shifting realities, any news as to whether he was here in the past would be appreciated.
[She shouldn't really need to add that if he arrives in the future she'd also like to know, right? Surely everyone here has some common sense regarding such matters. From all of the FAQ's she's read recently, they seem more on top of matters than she might have expected of most people. Wanda pauses, and after a moment continues.]
Also, has anyone managed to determine how many different dimensions and points in time we represent on board? Which worlds are similar and which ones are clearly separate, for instance?
[She's curious, not just because of her own dealings with altering reality, but because she's hoping that someone will be able to give her a basic idea of who she's dealing with on board and perhaps even which ones are from worlds similar to her own. Mentioning mutants or any groups by name would draw attention she's not sure she wants yet. Not until she knows who's listening on the other end.]

Considering how much people seem to already know about her, or some version of her, Wanda quietly resigns herself to the fact that keeping details of her life quiet is going to be more difficult than anticipated.]
You go by Havok in ours as well.
[With a sigh, she reaches up and brushes some of her hair out of her face.]
A rundown would be welcome if you're willing to give it.

[Since he's pretty sure in one universe he's dead. He almost wants to ask about Scott, but doesn't--it's not like he knows this 'brother' he has in his own universe. Besides, that isn't really the point. He would sympathize with Wanda, really. Having Billy freak out over him when he didn't even know much about himself was a lot to handle, at first.]
From my own universe...kinda, comes Charles Xavier. We also got Raven--goes by Mystique. My version of your dad was here, too, along with another Charles from a deviation of the timeline, kinda like me. Had another Havok here, from the base timeline of my universe. I'm a deviation.
[He hopes she isn't getting lost; it's a lot, and complicated, he knows.]
There are two Tony Stark's. His father was here, but recently died. Got some Avengers here, too? But I honestly couldn't tell you who. Definitely way down my own timeline.
[Things got kinda crazy for him, for a while, and he had lost touch.]
Got some web-slinging dweeb named Peter Parker, too.
[Yeah they hadn't gotten off to the best start.]
The rest of the 'specials' or mutants that I know of aren't from the same sort of places we're from. They think we're from comic books, and stuff.

Tony had mentioned Charles, a younger Charles, and she had met Raven moments ago.
The mention of her father makes her visibly flinch, and while she wishes she could have stopped herself, there's a brief flash of fear that crosses over her face. No Pietro, but apparently their father had been here and that made her deeply uncomfortable.
So caught up in that, she barely hears him mention that there was a second Charles and another Havok. That this Alex was the deviation.
Alex is already moving on, however. Two Tony Starks, a Howard Stark who had passed, and Avengers which by this point Wanda knew to be the alternate versions of the Ultimates. Clint and Tony would know the specifics better on that count. The mention of Peter Parker goes without any reaction. Wanda can put two and two together and make the assumption he might be Spider-Man, but his identity was still secret last she checked.
Her eyes close a moment after he mentions that they're in comic books in other worlds, and she reaches up to rub her brow. She's used to alternate realities in that she knows they exist. She's used to it in that she's coming to terms with the strangeness that is the population of the Tranquility, however there's simply so many familiar names and unfamiliar concepts being presented to her that it is a rather lot to add on top of everything else she's dealing with.
Taking a deep breath, she decides to address the most pertinent points.]
You don't seem all that concerned that any version of Magneto was here.
Are there others from worlds similar to ours that are no longer here that you're aware of?
video; encryption 100%
He isn't here, so there isn't anything to worry about now.
[He snorted, and shrugged, rubbing the back of his neck; it's a sign he's uncomfortable.]
Things with my Magneto are...complicated. In my world, he recruited me, with the Professor. He uh--he was a mentor, I guess?
He had to go psycho and screw it all up, but...he hasn't done a lot of the bad stuff he'll do, later.
[Alex isn't trying to make excuses for Erik; lord knew he had a lot of issues with Magneto, and had taken them out on him before. But he had to acknowledge that the Erik he knew hadn't completed his rise to insane-evil status, yet. And that Erik had meant something to him; had taught him not to be so damn scared of his own abilities.]
I've heard enough about other versions to know he becomes a supreme asshole.
[He shakes his head.]
Besides the one's I've told you about? Not that I know. But sometimes things get crazy here, and I miss people.
video; encryption 100%
You know a lot about other versions, but do you know about the one from my world specifically?
[She pauses a beat.]
And perhaps another time I'd like to hear what you know about any of the other versions, if you're willing.
video; encryption 100%
[He nods.]
Sure. It's uh--kinda nice at least to have some other mutants around.
video; encryption 100%
I suppose it is, though more often than not I keep to myself.
[She and Pietro tend to be more private people, and often keeping company with each other is enough for them.]
video; encryption 100%
[Honestly, he really did, but--]
Around here, though, it's better to at least know who you might count on. This place throws enough at us that it's necessary.
video; encryption 100%
[Forgive her if she's skeptical.]
video; encryption 100%
Not really. I don't trust Mystique not to betray me over the next pretty face that walks her way, and Charles...
[He shrugs, looking down, because that one bothers him more.]
...I just don't see him around much.
But I have other allies--they might not be mutants, but they count.
video; encryption 100%
Some things don't change, no matter what world you're from, it seems.
[Wanda cants her head to the other side.]
Who do you count as your allies, if I might ask?
video; encryption 100%
[It sounds strange, but really, despite all the variants that seem to be possible in alternative universes....some things seem consistent with every one of them.]
...people.
[He quirks an eyebrow.]
Rather not do another name dump on you until we've met in person, maybe.
[Because while he has heard a lot about you, he isn't sure you're entirely trustworthy yet.]
video; encryption 100%
I can respect that. I'm going to be heading out in a moment, but perhaps another day if you'd like.
[They can probably talk in more detail in person. She'd open herself up to being questioned if nothing else than because his questions would reveal something of his own priorities and interests in the process.]
video; encryption 100%
[He shrugs.]
Feel free to drop by.
[Meaning he's going to give her her space, and let her come to him.]
video; encryption 100%
[Especially since he's being polite enough to let her choose to contact him when she pleases.]
Until then, my thanks for your information and the welcome.

Place like this...people like us got to try to help out.
See you later, Wanda.
[And he turns the device off.]
